How's about we meeting somewhere around Greenville and 635 ?
What do you think Mr. Woodard??
I'll give you a call today!
We could first meet at my house, then hook up with Mr. Russell!!

How about Cheddars??
How about this? There is a Cheddars on the South West corner of Greenville and 635, just to the right(South) side of the Greenville exit when you are heading East on 635 toward Mesquite. I can be up there, say around 9:30/9:45 am & we can hook up there & head over to Mesquite when we all congregate. I think this will be a fairly good spot to meet and will br easy access for Tom and Jim W., should be easy for Gary S & the 514, and probably pretty easy for Ray, then we kick in Matt, Drew, and so on, and so on........
John R.
ps. There "might" be a better parking lot right next door, but rhis is not my normal stomping grounds and I do remember the Cheddars.......so just exit & look for the Cobras, unless a better idea pops up.

Gary Morris,
Hope you don't mind, but I tried on your Bell open faced helmet you left in Jay's truck. That is exactly the model I am planning on buying. Your's fit really nice, could you tell me what size it is and where you bought it?
Appreciate it,
Keith

Sorry I missed the meeting today folks, but I was out of town and didn't get back in time & had no way to warn anybody. It would've been great fun.I always look forward to these monthly meetings! See you next time.

We wondered where you were Ray!!
Ray,
We wondered where you were! We had a fairly good turnout with about 8 to 10 cars and as many members without! It looks like Summer is upon us, and later in the day cruising time is just around the corner. Kevin brought the pictures he shot last weekend at Motorsport Ranch, with some 8 x 10's all tricked up of Cobras in action. We had a great lunch, then a few of us peeled off to "fix" the ignition problem in Gary Morris's car. We did not quite have it pinned down when I had to head home to help John jr. pack for BSA Summer camp- we leave tomorrow morning at 8:00am. I did have a chance to upload a few photos of the "lineup" of cars and the "crew" hard at work over Gary's 427.
We had a great day, and I hope you did as well!
John Russell

Great time today at the lunch and crusing around. Still no resolution on Gary's car when Drew and I left at 4:20 pm. It appears to be a short in a direct hot wire somewhere and we were having great difficulty pinning it done. Maybe if we would of had a few beers we could of through straighter?
Calling Mr. Baldwin, where is our electrical genius when we need him? Out in Colorado sunny himself........... Mr. Morris needs you!

Gary is back up and running guys.....
We changed the way the MSD was wired and John Ross figured out that the initial spark is because of the first start but without the distributor working correctly the MSD won't continue to fire...thus the spark when we moved the ground....changed out the dist....innerds(wonder where Gary got that extra dist?) and vrooom...mounted the box and he has a little cleanup to do this week but its working fine now.
Matt
