Wonderful trip & car looks GREAT!!
Matt,
The trip went well, & the car looks great!
Ronnie & Doug Reed did a wonderful job on the car, & John & I headed out at 6:15 am on Saturday morning, arriving home about 3:30 pm-600 miles later. The top really changes the look of the car, and it makes long drives much more pleasant.
I will try & attach a photo, or will add them to my photos and show a link.

John,
That's almost exactly what I want for my SPF! I'm moving toward a purchase early this Fall (anticipating getting the car engined and delivered the following Spring). I would appreciate it if you'd e-mail me-if you wish AND at your convenience-- with the specifications (as in wheels/options other than the hard-top) and any other considerations, including any problems, delays, etc. I've researched the SuperFormance sites and discovered that there are quite a few options available. Just wanted to see what you did. The color is superb! Gives me some new ideas.

The pictures will come by tomorrow,I hope!
Gurrrrrrrr,
Once again, I failed to anticipate this problem and shot the set in a high resolution- the files are all over 307 megabites. I will set the resolution down to 680 when I get back to town this afternoon & post the pictures. Fred, I will get in touch with you today or tomorrow so we can talk. Thanks for your kind words.
John Russell

I think you are limited to 40k for pictures included in the message, but larger if you post to the Gallery and include a link in the thread.

I finally got it right!
O.K.
I adjusted the resolution on my camera down to 640x480, shot a few pictures late this afternoon, added one link above and here are two more.
John R.
this is the back
another front
O.K. I have no idea why the two above links won't work, but just click on the " view my photos" under my signature which will take you to the three shots of my car and the ones I shot of Pauls new car. The engine pix with 2x4's is his car,not mine. Thanks. Fred, I will e-mail you today-5-15.

HARD TOP
JOHN R.
DOES THE HARD TOP INCREASE THE NOISE INSIDE THE CAR?

Dwight- yes/no!
Dwight,
The top does increase the header noise IF you don't run with the side curtains on, but it does dramatically decrease the wind noise and it is surprisingly cool on the highway, and conversations with your passenger is MUCH easier. My son & I just drove 600 miles home this past Saturday- from Chalmette, Louisiana to Dallas, Texas and it really was a pleasant drive. I KNOW the top is good up to 130.
John R.
ps. we did not have the side curtains on.

THANKS JOHN R
SOUNDS LIKE GOOD NEWS TO ME. I WILL HAVE TO MAKE MY SIDE CURTAINS. BUT UNTILL I DO, I JUST USE THE TOP WITH WIND WINGS.
THANKS DWIGHT
