Gary Sharapata's 514 lives!!
For those of you that didn't know it, Gary Sharapata has finally got his 514 running. Drew Baird & I met at his house for the first firing(that I have heard), and I took a few pictures and uploaded a couple of then early this morning, but I made the post under the B & B forum...SORRY.
Here's the link, & if I screw it up again, just go to my photo gallery.

The pictures look real good.
Those colors and setup seem to be the way I want to head as well. It's just a matter of time for me.

Everything went together right visually on that one!
The colors , hard top, and the knock off style wheels really belong together on that car. It really looks authentic !
(I assume the new 514 is the hard top in the pic)
I have the same motor in my incoming turnkey WCC., with EFI.
What tranny, rear end, clutch setup is in this car?

O.K. Gary's car alone in this one
O.K.
Here is a picture of Gary's Royal Blue SPF with the 514 alone, in all it's splendor!
Sorry for the confusion.

Gary It's good to hear that you have your car running. I know you must be ready to get your car out on the road. It sounds like you had a good support team with you as well. My new car is supposed to be shipped in a few days and should get it in by mid July. What a hot time to do an engine install. I look forward in seeing you car sometime.
Take Care

Gary,....?
How stiff is your McLeod clutch setup? The one in my Scout 2, 4 x 4 , is so (really) stiff, it hurts to drive it as a commute vehicle!
It does excel for 4 x 4 stuff, tho. It has the 258 Jeep type 6 cylinder, 4 speed with granny first.
Does the aluminum flywheel, etc... make things lighter, pressure wise?
