Anyone up for Coffee and Dessert Tuesday Night in Addison?
I haven't had the car out in almost two weeks. Looking for an excuse to take it out somewhere without roasting in the sun.
Just testing the water to see if anyone was interested in meeting in Addison (or some place central) for coffee or dessert on Tuesday night (the 9th) about 8:00.
I know, it is a weeknight but I figure... it is cooler, a good way to digest dinner and a good way to catch up since I have been away from my friends for a while.
If not, I like Gary's suggestion of a "gumball" in the near future.
Just tying to open up some chatter. Let's get to drivin these dang thangs .

Sounds like fun!
James,
Normally, Tuesday nights are out for me due to our BSA meetings which we hold every week. However, we are meeting at the church at 3:15 and taking the boys in the troop that are "paid up" on their dues to the I-MAX for the 4:15 show & for pizza afterwards. This will take the place of our normal meeting, so I think John jr. & I could make it. Lyndsie has volleyball setters practice from 7:30 to 9:00 so Mary will be tied up & maybe the boys can slip out and hook up with the crew.
I will check back here as the day progresses.
John R.
ps. if you can't pull this together for today, there is always tomorrow.

Here it is..
Tom and I both went to scout out places. The problem was that there were only a few places that had decent parking and good desserts.
Here is the poop.

Count me in! Driving in Irving last night about 8pm was pretty nice but still just a little muggy. Funny though the faster I went the cooler it seemed. Did several speed runs to confirm my scientific findings! Maybe others could help confirm this strange phenomenon???
