Default New To Cobra Club in McKinney, TX

Hello All,

I just picked up my Cobra from San Antonio this last weekend. My father and I built the car about 10 years ago. The car has been sitting in the garage for almost 10 years. My father just was not able to drive the car on the streets of SA, so it only has 70 miles on it. I need to clean the car and fix some little things, but would love to get involved with the Cobra club. Finally a go-fast hobby my wife and I can enjoy together. The Cobra is a Unique Motorcars 289 model. Hope to see all of you soon.

Thanks,

Wes Drescher

Wes,

Welcome to the club!! I'm looking forward to seeing your 289 Unique - one of my favorites!!

Be sure to come out to the SCAT (Shelby Cobra Association of Texas) monthly meeting this Sunday the 21st at 6:00pm. Go to www.scatracks.org for more info ...

The July meeting will be on Sunday, JULY 21 at 6:00PM. It will be held at our usual spot of Pappas Bar-B-Que, 2231 W. Northwest Highway (in-between I-35 & Loop 12 on NW Hwy) in Dallas. Everyone is welcome to attend whether you're a member or not. We generally have 40+ attendees per meeting. After an hour of so of downing good ol' Texas barbeque, we'll drive to Braums or somesuch place for some ice cream.

Join us for a summer evening dinner and drive!

Talking Welcome!

Wes,
Welcome to our "little club of Cobras & characters", and not necessarily in that order! Do try and make our SCAT meeting this Sunday at Pappas BBQ, and be sure to drive your car, since that is what it is all about!
We all are looking forward to seeing your car.
John Russell

Default Welcome

Yea, another McKinney member. Welcome to the Club Wes.

How about some details on the car to keep us drooling until we get to see it.
