Default Planning a Move?

Planning a move to San Antonio. Is there a Club in San Antonio? It would be nice to have some other snake charmers to hang out with.

Lightbulb oldmexico

I also talked with Ryan at our last state meeting in Austin! I told him to start with a monthly meeting and go from there! Thats how we got started in Dallas, I think that there was 3or 4 of us at our first meeting now we have as many as 40 people at our monthly meetings. Let me know if we (Dallas) can help you get started.

Thumbs up

Welcome Oldmexico!

We did the same thing here in Austin as the Dallas bunch. Started up some breakfast or lunch meets on a monthly schedule. The important thing to remember is " rain or shine, Cobras or no Cobras". I remember one meet last Fall, we had over 45 members and family at the County Line for lunch on a rainy day and no Cobras. That was awsome.

Your always welcome to join us here in Austin while you stur up the San Antonio bunch.

Talking Sure...let's get this thing started.

Sorry I haven't responded sooner. I've been entrenched in a Cobra build. Almost there...just a little wiring and some bodywork. Waiting for pipes to get back from ceramacoating.

There are at least 4 FFRs being built in the immediate San Antonio area, one finished ERA, two Lone Stars being built(so I've heard) and a few other cars of unknown origin. There was an E.M. but I think he sold it..

So yes, we have plenty of people to start some local events...I need to go through my contacts and see if I can set something going for later this month or early October. Any suggestions.

BTW: Anyone for some bodywork tips...I'm at least going to try it! Anyone really like to do wiring???

Give me a call guys 210-366-0317

Lightbulb I'm throwing out a date....

I am picking a tentative date of October 12. Any suggestions/concerns. Move it up/back?

I am checking with all the local guys to see if they will be available. For those of you that might be coming in from out of town, give me some feedback. I will also work on coming up with some sort of agenda for the day. There are plenty of good places to eat...anyone for Texmex?

Hello Ryan, Thanks for getting back to me. I'm still here in Mazatlan, Mx. My wife are planning a move to San Antonio. Hopefully in 3 months. I presently have the car up for sale, also have 3 offers, but I;m having second toughts. We really loved car. Don't drive it much here, but it sure is fun looking at it, even in the garage. I'm thinking if we move to the states without I'll hate myself for selling it. What kind of insurance rates in your area? Let stay in touch, Okay?

Ryan,

just got back from Granby, Mo where I picked up my B&B Turnkey Minus on saturday. Craig Bachmeyer(of Bergheim), went along, as he is in the middle of his build.

I'll be at the meeting!
