Tom, Tom, Tom............
I'm in an Internet cafe surfin' the WEB and just couldn't stay away from my buddies. We're in Florence, leaving tonight by train for Messina, about a 10 1/2 hour ride. Spend the night in Cantania and then pick up the sailboats on Saturday. On the water for 7 days, turn the boats in in Nalpoli and start heading home. Back in Dallas on Tuesday, the 15th.
Ciao!
Jim
ps: Marge says Hi!

Jim,
If you see a US Navy fast-attack nuclear submarmarine patroling the Mediterranean while you're sailing, wave to my son Brandon! They are somewhere between Spain and Greece right now, probably waiting on the word to hurl a few Patriots down on Iraq (I hope).

Ok, Ok............
get out your maps. Today were on the Island of Lipari in the Eolian Islands off of Sicily. Going by the Island of Stromboli tonight where there is an active volcano which is supposed to be spectacular. I will let you know. Enjoying good weather, good sailing, good food, vini, etc.
Bobby, we will keep a look out for the submarine and say hello if the opportunity presents itself.
Marge says Hi to all!

Jim does Marge open the bedroom door every now and then and spray you with the garden hose so that you'll feel like it's the ocean waves splashing on your face!!
You know that if you sit too close to those halogen lights then will bake your brain, or what you have left!!

Some of those engine parts I can use. Jim has been gone to long. He might come back with a confused mind , you know like RED paint as in the "F" word (Ferrari).

All of you are too..........
funny! You can have all those Cobra parts as I've decided not to return to the states. We're selling eveything and buying a boat over here and will be cruising the Med. for a year or two.
Ok, Ok, maybe not until later. Anyway, we've visited Scario, Agripoli and are currently in Amalfi. Everyone needs to see these places as trhey are great.
See you next week.

On the Island of Capri......
stylin' and profilin' with the rich and famous. Capri is the Italian equivalent of Rodeo drive in Beverly Hills.
Sure could have used the life jacket on the sail here from Salerno. Heavy seas (6' - 10') ft with 25 - 30 knot winds, but we made it OK! Turn the boats in tomorrow and then head back to reality.
See you soon!
