Stopped by Drew's after work and saw his new SPF Cobra.
WOW what a beauty and talk about a beast for an engine.....
To bad it was raining as Drew was just iching to take me for a blast. Says the new 418 puts his other 408 to shame!!!
New Beast in Town!

Hey guys and gals this is a bad boy. Now, maybe we can talk Drew into actually running it. I kept a spare key and I swear I'll do it.........if he doesn't. We took it out at Midnight Wednesday when I arrived at Drew's house.(I'm sure the neighbors loved that) I made him stop and let me pull out the chip so we could blast past that damn rev limiter at 6K. This motor pulls strong from 3K 'til ??? Drew ran it up to 65-6800 rpm and it is scarey....
Can't wait to do his next (4th) car. Gonna be hard to beat this combination, the color is a true stand out, and with those PERFECT stainless sidepipes!!!
When I grow up I want to be just like Drew.....or maybe Greg Sellars, damn, he's marrying Vicki, and has two pretty cool Cobras and a little plane and........and vicky says he has a BIG................
STICK, to keep(or GET) the other girls off.
Doug

Doug Reed and his guys did an OUTSTANDING job on this install. It's obvious that they were trying to please. Once again after waiting for my car, it was darn well worth it. Thank you Doug and Ronnie Reed. As you well know we will be doing car #4? with the big shelby motor. The color will be this new Marlin Blue only with the bad boy motor. Although it will be tough to beat this combo. Good Job Keith Craft and Co. Hope to see all of you sometime this weekend or at next weeks lunch!!

Congrats, Drew on your new car. You Dallas guys seem like they have all of the fun!!! I wish I lived closer to join in more often. It must be really neat to have so much Cobra action in one place. Drew, I would like a ride in the beast one day before you sell it and move on to #4. Have a great weekend.

Dan,
What's up with your car? I heard you and a few engine problems and wondering if you are back on the road yet?
Maybe we can plan a GUMBALL with some notice and you could come over for the day!

Gary Had a wrist pin come loose on the #1 hole. It scared the cylinder wall. I took out the engine yesterday and took it down to my local machine shop for some work. I hope to have it back and in the car in about a month or so. I would like to come over for the day and have some fun with everyone. I hope maybe before it gets to cold.
Take care
Dan
