Beautiful Day
No more rain! The sun has re-appeared! My FFR wanted to play! So I joined several members of the "Donut Gang" this morning (9:00 am) for coffee and a donuts at Starbucks in Lakeway.

We didn't want to go home, so since the majority of us had free time (being retired ), we decided to cruise around. I got home around 4:00 pm, sun burned and wind burned. It was a beautiful day cruising around with a 49 Merc, 41 Willy, 55 Ford F100 pickup, and a 23 Ford T-Bucket. We turned heads every where while cruising in a convoy.
After eleven days of rain, it was great to get out and hang out with the hot rodders.

Bot, I wish I had the time yesterday!!
Man,
I hope this afternoon is like yesterday was, 'cause I plan on taking the car out this afternoon!!! Unless, of course, I find out later today that I have to so something other than VOTE and pick the kids up from school!!!!
I don't think I can wait untill Saturday, so unless it starts poring rain I am taking the car out!!
Yeah, that's the ticket!!

No Rain!
Get those Cobras out and charge those batteries (including your own internal battery)! No more rain through next week. Sunny and cool weather, perfect for thoses Texas Hill Country cruises.
I got to help the wife load her plants into her greenhouse for winter, but later on this afternoon the FFR is rolling.

Hey t'anks
Ed, John,
Thank gawd, I'm no longer a "wannabe", I'm a "waitabe"---but thanks anyway for making the rest of us
Lucky, lucky you! I always love to hear Ted Koppel's stories---someone perhaps he---went into why it was a footrace between him and other family members, whenever there was a quart of milk to be bought, etc.
