Default Hello Tennessee wanta be's

Last time I checked yall were trying to find the cheapest place in Austin that could accommodate 50, 50 foot trailers for the TCC Spring meeting. What have yall decided? The
Tennessee 20 Mule Team Featherlite must plan accordingly. You know, adequate food and drink, etc. Dates, locations?

Smile Last weekend in February, Richard!

Richard,
Plan on the last weekend in February for sure, and are you bringing the little mule, the new BIG mule, or both mules? Inquiring minds want to know!

Default Hey...Richard...

Can anyone join in this soiree....? Remember, there's three more SPF buddies less than 10 minutes from the foot of your driveway....two of us have trailers and have been known to partake of the 'adequate food and drink' of which you speak... Hell, we'll even supply some of both!

Late February could work wonders for our cabin fever....

Lettuceno....

Freddie,

The TCC annual meeting is open to all...we would love to have more people from Tennessee come down...we are shooting for 100 cars this year...had almost or right at 70 last year....bring them on boys...we want a record number.

I also believe the plans are to end up back at the hotel for Saturday night so everyone can partake in the libations and not worry about driving these cars afterwards.

Matt

Default Freddie, BRING IT ON, BROTHER!!

Freddie,
Just hook up with Richard and COME ON DOWN!!! Also, please don't mis-understand Matt. We have an overabundance of horsepower AND alcohol at this shindig, but we "try" and keep them on mutually exclusive playing fields.
You "must" join the TEXAS COBRA CLUB to attend, and you may do so by going to our website
www.texascobraclub.com
and filling out the membership form. We have members in good standing from all over the USA, and from what I have heard about you from some of the other SPF guys, you should be able to "stand up" to the initiation without too much of a problem!
Shoot, just plan on the last weekend and come to Texas for a visit......... Guaranteed FUN in Austin!!

Wink Tom, It's really very simple!!

Tom,
I am surprised at you! After a couple of hours around the Marguerita machine at Tulsa, Drew was " Good, he's standing"!!
After a fewww of the jello shots at your house, and a few cans of whipped cream, both you & Stretch were "Good, we're still standing"! After a few "Bacardi con Limon" with Doug Reed, we were all "Good, they are standing". After a few Jack Daniels with Gary Morris......."Good, we can still stand". After we got out of my car at Hallett "GOOD, we are still standing"!
Elementary, my Dear Watson.........Their dues are paid up!!
So there!

John R.

Cool Just sent in my "Membership Application"...

Just forwared my email TCC Membership application to Dick Flesher....realized I left off my Web handle, so sent him another email with the proper moniker on it....sorry....had an attack of cranial rectitus this morning!

Now, for this dues thing....
"couple of hours around the Marguerita machine", "a fewww of the jello shots", "a few 'Bacardi con Limon' with Doug Reed" and finally, "a few Jack Daniels"...what are you guys, a buncha wimps...? Bet you've all got cup holders in your rides, doncha...? What's next ...roll-up windows and CD players...?

You want initiation ....? Try some of our Tennessee Sour Mash White Lightnin'....you'll understand why Ford could only call their supercharged pickup a "Lightnin'".... they were too 'politically correct' to use the full name. Besides, us good ol' boys have a copyright on the term, and we'd a sued the hell of of the bastards if they tried to use it.... Ahhhhhhh, yess....separates the Wannabes from the real men.

I'll try to get my hands on some for February....if nothing else we can use it for octane boost!

Just what does THAT mean...? You been talkin' to Doug and Ronnie Reed again...?

They lie...!

Talking Freddie, I like the Spirit(s)-bring 'um on!

Freddie,
It's been a few years since I sipped a clear liquid out of a Mason Jar!!! Don't tantalize us now, just BRING IT ON!!
I am glad you filled in the registration form, and I will make sure Dick gets the info on file for you. I think the Austin crowd is meeting this weekend for another planning session, so we should be seeing some Hotel information soon. I am glad you guys are planning on joining us, because this thing has been growing every year! Austin is in the heart of the Hill country, and some really beautiful drives are everywhere (understand, this is Texas, not Tennessee), and we DO have a good time!!
Welcome to our little party, and please bring your friends!

ps. Yes, I am aware of the problems Doug & Ronnie have, but we put up with them anyway, and besides, they fit in pretty well. You should see the picture of Tom Meadows in Doug's Fluorescent Cobra shirt!! PRICELESS!!

Wink Message received

Freddie - received your e-mail and replied - Welcome to the TCC. I will add your name to the online membership roster. Please understand that you will be conditionally accepted into TCC pending testing of this Tennessee White Lightning down in Austin. We have a standing committee (well sometimes they are standing!) of "Certified Drunks & Village Idiots" to test all such products. Products found not to our high standards are used for carb cleaner.

Just to let you know who you are messin' with...here is pic of ERA600HP as Cobraman.

See ya in Ausin.
