Default Gruene Looks Fun!

Drove through Gruene the other day. Looks like a nice little town.

Looks like the grist mill has a ton of parking and a few other places do as well.

Remember Rain or Shine.

For you Austin guys who are going to convoy down. For the North group we can meet at my houise and cruise town 620 and hook up with Ed. Or we can all meet at the Mobile station on RR 12 and 71. (its on the south east side of the intersection)

Looks like Blakes trip to Cuba is on again...he gets back the evening of the 14th...

Since he knows them(Gruene Hall people) and is in charge of this, should we do it on a Sunday(15th)...or is this a horrible idea....?

Just running past everyone for thoughts...

Unhappy Can't Convoy!

Kathy and I will try to make the December Meet on Saturday (12/14/02) at the Griss Mill, but I just found out today that I'll be having Arthroscopy Meniscus Cartilage surgery on Friday (12/06/02) on my left knee. I'll be on pain killers and crutches for awhile. Kathy will have to drive the Limo, the FFR is out of the equation for awhile. Boy I glad I got some Cobra time in last week.

Will the 15th work for everyone? Sorry abou that...I just found out last week, that I WILL be going back to Cuba for the 9th-14th.

Let me know if this works, and I'll set it up with Gruene.

Unhappy

Looks like I will be cutting it so close that I will probably miss it. My car probably won't be ready until next weekend and I am out of town all week. I don't like painters much right now (no offense Mustangmendez) I just don't see how time estimates can be so far out of whack and it's not like this is a rare event, but rather it seems to be a common occurence especially in that particular profession. So common, that it's basically expected.....? I still don't think it's an excuse.... Even so, I am far better off than those that had their cars gone for months on end....and I'll shut up now.

Ryan, a month at the painters isn't bad. Be patient and don't rush them or they may miss something. I think most body shops miss their estimate on time to completion because of them breathing paint fumes without a respirator for many years. Could I be right Tony?

I don't think anything is set up because he didn't know what people wanted...
Looks like he and Greg are a no go for the 14th and Ed can't do the 15th....other than that I have no idea about anyone else. I am likely a no go on the 14th as well...I plan to be picking up the car that day...unless I can sneak ou ton Friday...highly unlikely.
