Charmer's Cobra is Sold
Hey gang, just wanted to let everyone know that I sold my car to a very nice gentleman from Okl. City on Friday. He wanted and got everything but the side-oiler.
Looks like I'll be bumming a ride in February
I've got a couple very hot buyers for Superformance if anyone is in the market to sell.
Life has been wonderful for me. Although money is tight, I've been spending lots of time with the family and it's been great getting to know my boys and wife again. I've got a friend,
Bill the mechanic, that is inviting me into his business and teaching me a new trade so soon enough, I'll be hard at work again. Unfortunately, work won't include being on-line so excuse the delays in contributing to the site.
God bless all and have a great holidays,
Charmer

Hang In There!
Charmer; Sorry to see the 700HP SPF go. Hang in there! Another SPF will come along with your name on it. I'm glad to hear that your spending some time with the family. Not many get a chance to do that these days. The current work place is very demanding on those who still have jobs.
We still need your inputs for the 2003 Spring meet, so don't wander off too far. As for a ride, you always have a seat in my little FFR.

Hate to see it go, but glad for you it sold. I guess you can always get another when things turn around. Just don't be a stranger. It's the people, not the cars. Enjoy the Holidays!

Hey Charmer,
Noticed your cobra was gone out of Classified section, so I assumed you sold it. There is life after your Cobra but you will always have the urge for another or something fast!!!
Having friends with Cobras where you can get a ride once in awhile will help the urge and you have tons of friends. If I happen to get another prior to Spring event, you can ride with me, if I make it by then!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did you also sell the trailer to the OK person?
Keep in touch!

Stretch - I've mixed feelings. Glad you sold your car, but damn, I hate to see it go. I remember like it was yesterday walking into Doug's dealership in August 2001 and seeing your car. I offered Doug $500 more than what you were going to pay, but he said no. Just kidding of course, but I will miss it.
I'm sure you'll end up with another SPF in due time. Now of course, you'll need to decide what color scheme to go with and what motor!
See you in February.

Charmer - sorry your car is sold, but such is life sometimes. I'm sure there will be another Cobra in your future and yes, you never can spend too much time with a young family.
Don't be a stranger and see ya in February. You don't have to bum a ride...as the first President of the Texas Cobra Club you just sign an ex-executive order.
