Default Great 65 Degree Saturday!

Well if I had my new Cobra, I'd be calling for a "GUMBALL" today with the forecast of sunny and 65 +.

Can't beleive you guys are not taking advantage of this weather....The guys up north are praying for high 40s, so they can get their's out!

Thumbs up What A Day

If I could only bend my left knee, I would be in my FFR right now cruising the Texas Hill Country.

You mentioned the guts up North would like high 40s. We have been below freezing for weeks. But you would not want to drive here even if it were warmer. Our roads are covered with salt. When you drive your windshield become white. A Cobra with salt and sluch is not a good combination. You guys that can drive should drive, because many up North do not have the option.

Thumbs up

Took my youngest son to church in the "replica" this morning. What a great way to start a day.

Then I had to work on my wife's SUV.

My son loves the car, and I enjoy watching the grin on his face. I'm sure one day I will need to lock-up the keys to keep him out of it.

I was in New Mexico for the last week and thinking..

"gee, the high is 33 today, if the sun was out and I had the car, I would be driving it"

Then, I get back to Dallas this evening and it is 67 at 11PM.

Yup, I would drive it if it wasn't raining... but then that hasn't stopped me before..

hmmmm..... I think I will go for a quick ride.

i worked on my Cobra all day yesterday.
installed the rearend, tougher than it looks by yourself
installed the front end, spring compressors are fun
thought i had put the spindles on wrong wheels until i realized the tie rods are inserted from underneath.
pressing the polyurethane bearings is fun
u have to have a mother of a vise that opens about 7" and
1 3/4 socket for the lower and 1 1/2 socket for the upper
oh the front end is 78 Mustang II hot rod and the rear end
is 3.73 trac lock disc brake 88 t bird
next sunny day will be welding day!
it would be nice to be finished for feb 20th but we are spending a week in St. Martin for St. Valentine's so i guess April in Tulsa would be a goal to shoot for.

Unhappy Not another car !

Well I ended up with another Mustang ,88 GT Conv.5.0
So I started pulling parts ,Eng and so on.
More parts for the Cobra and the 92 GT 5.0 conv. So I think that makes 12 vehicails most of the projects .

I drove all afternoon....both the Cobra and a brand spankin new Kawasaki ZZR1200. I had to help a buddy pick up his brothers bike and he didn't have a current motorcycle license. What a shame.....talk about making the Cobra feel slow....!
