What Happen To Austin Event Videos?
Yesterday at the Dallas January meeting we had the 1st Austin Event Video playing and it was really enjoyable watching it.
Question?
What ever happen to developing a Video from the second and third event?
I know in year two there was a ton of footage taken including interviews with the drivers and their cars, poker run etc. Who has all this footage? Maybe we could start getting some more videos put together, as I know all of us would be willing to pay to get them!!!!!!!!!!! Last year I didn't have a car there and rode with John Russell but took some footage.
Calling Austin Club members...........

Another good question!!
Good Question Gary!!
I would love to see the video from the prior year when Brtend came down to join us!! I KNOW ther is some cool footage of Brent & I making a rather spirited charge on the car with the camera just in front of us and I know Brent quit asking us for a copy after about a year or so of false promises. Does anyone know if we even have a copy of that footage around anywhere in existence?
If we can get our hands on the tape I would imagine we can get something done.......IF we can actually get the tape!
Do we still have contact in Austin with whoever shot the video, or has he dropped out of the club also?
I AM NOT being "picky", I am just trying to find the lost video of the past two years....that's all.

Beats the Heck Out of ME!
Well this Austin Guy has not seen any footage except from the first one. So who ever has footage. Please step forward.
It would be nice to see the video.

Better Memory than me!
Jim,
I don;t know if Berry Busbee has the footage or not. He hasn't been around in quite a long while.
Don't know if he is still in the area?

Tony and Cobra Dude took videos last year. I copied them but did not edit them. I gave a copy to Ray Russell. I also had a friend take some video of the Cobras exiting the Origin Parking Building. Ray also has a copy. May be some one in the Dallas bunch can edit the tapes.

Yes, Gregg I am still here, sorry for the absense. I am the one that did the interviews from 2 years ago and yes I still have that footage. After the lackluster interest in the video that Stretch had made from the first event and not seeing any interest until now for footage made from the second event I really didn't think anyone would ever be interested. So if you guys want to put it together just let me know who to send it to.
Regards,
Barry (Still cobraless!)

Guys, I put together the video from the first CC event (using footage from my camera as well as, I think, Barry's and perhaps Stretch's). It is embarrassingly low-tech; unfortunately that was a function of the editing equipment I had access to at the time. I also have footage that I shot from the last two years' events if someone wants to incorporate it into another video--

Some of you guys are either getting senile or not coming to the monthly meetings. I showed the video from last year at one of the Hartford's meetings when we met inside. If you want a copy I'll loan it to you.

Ray,
I saw the video you showed Saturday *1st event * which I also purchased the second year when it was available. I didn't see the footage from last year (maybe missed that meeting) and I also have some from last year. I was looking for footage from year number 2!
Any member in DFW are have editing capablilites. I'm pretty good with engines and cobra stuff but don't know beans about this video stuff except how to turn the camera on and point it! We do have a dupe machine at work I could use to dupe some tapes........

The video that was showing Saturday was not mine. Someone else brought that. The video that I have was from last year. A friend of Ed Csoltko shot it. It shows the car show at Origins, all the cars coming out of the parking garage and some of the poker run and the barbeque. It also has video that CobraDude(I think) was shooting from a camera mounted in the grille of his car.
