Kirkham 142 Is Finished
After 15 months, it's done.
Sorting it out this weekend, and so far so good. A oil cooler weeping issue to deal with but not a big deal.
Now comes the hard part....registering the monster.
See you all in Austin, and hopefully, the Feb meeting!!

Dick:
Thanks for the kind words. I am very happy with it.
Barring any registration glitches, would like to have its debut at the Feb meeting.
Say....how about IHOP Grapevine again?

Sounds like you just stepped up and took the February meeting Bud. There shouldn't be any problem with registration...Texas is great about it....they love us gas guzzlers.
So Ihop in February...better start a new post on the February meeting.

Mr. Mike:
The original comp cars and S/C's used dual batteries (actually aircraft batteries) with the brand name "Rebat". They were mounted behind the passengers seat on the lower ledge of the cockpit. Original street cars mounted the single battery in the engine compartment
My car utilizes the same set-up, as you can see in the photos.
