Sat 22nd Forecast 70 degrees 0% Precipitation
We are 10 days away from the event. This means that we are within the 10 day forecast from Weather.com. So far looks pretty good with a high of 67 on Friday and 70 on Saturday. Both with a 0% chance of rain. Of course 10 day predictions often change but I take this as a good sign of things to come this year

In the past we have chosen never to speak of the "W" word in relation to this event and just let the King do what he does. He has done a GREAT job EVERY year!!!!
Let not jinks it.
The Royal one has everything under control.
Maybe we should even delete post that reference to the "W" word and hope that the powers that be never find out that there were doubters among us.

Besides, if the weather is less than perfect, we will still all get together and beat the **** out of the person who is responsible for our weather!

Now SEVEN days and counting...
http://www.intellicast.com and http://www.weather.com both agree on Friday and Saturday's weather.... Well, mostly...one has it only being 69 on Saturday and the other says 70....but, Hell, I'll go with either.
Mister Rhubarb...you Royal Highness....if you screw up this weather after I drive amost 700 miles...well, you just don't wanna see what's gonna happen....it could get real ugly...and take days to get over the hangover...trust me....real ugly.

No Problemo!!
OK,Ok,
I guess I am just going to have to break out my "secret weapon"! I have a new set of modified knock off spinners..... what I did was mount 3 kyak paddles, one on each of the ears, and they extend out to almost 3/4" from the pavement. I must admit it looks sort of funky and it's a bi*** to turn a corner, but what the heck, I'm not going to let a little rain stop me!
What we need is to hear from Ray Russell as to his drive down today. What route, & how was it?
Come on Ray, I know you are at Ed's house, warm & dry.
SHOW YOURSELF!!
