A second convoy to Austin ?
Is anyone interested in a second group heading to Austin, leaving Hillsboro around 1 pm? I have to pickup my trailer Friday morning in Ft. Worth and then return home to Plano to gather up wife and kid.
Anyone else with similar timing want to join up for ride? Same basic logistics as Team Russell, just a couple of hours later.
Can't wait to see everyone next weekend.

Chip,
can you get the trailer Thursday night then join us. I was planning to leave mckinney about 7:30 or 8:00 Friday morning. maybe the second caravan should be from mckinney/frisco to cedar hill as there are alot of us in this area.

All depends upon my travel plans this week. I would prefer to pick it up Thurs. pm, if I can get back to DFW in time. I should know more by end of day tomorrow. I would prefer to hookup with guys Fri am, we'll see.

Chip,
Where is the trailer? Maybe someone here can pick it up? Or if your wife is in town we can go with here and get it all taken care of.
let me know if I can help.

Chip,
if you can get the trailer early and need to store it, there is plenty of room in my back yard to keep it until Friday.

Thanks for the offers, guys. I am renting a trailer from a place off of Loop 820 in Ft. Worth. I am not sure how they would feel with someone else(?) picking up the trailer... but I am open to any suggestions.... I always reserve the right to get smarter later...
It would have to be picked up before 4 pm on Thurs pm, and I can't make back until around 6 pm. I would forget all this horse---, and just drive the car to Austin, but with my luck, it might bring bad weather in, so I don't want to ruin the forecast. Especially since that would mean messin' with the King (and his forecast).

Chip
I am more than likely closer to 820 than anyone, It is about 15 mins from my house. Where is the trailer? And call them to see if someone else can pick it up. I can put it in my driveway. You call and see if someone else can pick it up and we will figure out how.
If I can help let me know. 972-740-1211

My bet is C&S...seems like everyone is going there. If they will allow your wife to pick it up I can go out there with her on Thursday afternoon and we can park it at my apartment complex till you come and get it that night. I would be alot closer for you...just let me know.

It's about the people. THANK YOU!! to Tom, James, and Steve
Thanks to the King, James, and Steve who are going to pickup my trailer and drop it by my house this afternoon, I should be able to meet up with Team Russell for the trek to Austin, Friday morning.
I have always been impressed with our bunch of folks in Dallas, but the willingness to help and generosity of time from these guys is once again beyond comprehension.
Does anybody know what the King's favorite brand of "coolant" might be?
Thanks again to Tom, James, and Steve. See ya in Austin.

Chip, David, anyone
pick a spot and we can all meet up for the drive to cedar hill. I was thinking somewhere near 121 and preston with a large parking lot. maybe around 7:30 or 8:00 am so we miss most of the traffic. it is probably a 1.5 hour drive to cedar hill.
