Dallas April Meeting
the first saturday is april 5.
To avoid a possible scheduling conflict between two different events for the April meeting,I have withdrawn my previous post & proposal for the April 5th meeting.
As always,I will try to attend the meeting where ever you arrange it.

Hey guys,
At the meeting Saturday, Don Barnes mentioned he was going to talk to the Texas Motorspeedway and see if we could have our April meeting (Lunch) at the Speedway Club. We might want to wait for a week or so and see if Don can get that set up before we finalize details???????

WHOAH!!!!
WOW.................
Gary, do you mean we might just be up there "runnin' with the big dogs" at the speedway? Gee, I guess I can wait for a chance to go somewhere I might not ever get a chance to go! Shoot, I think I can bring a family member with me to this one!
Either way, it sounds like fun!

Guys, Sorry I didn't get back sooner, but this new job is working me long hours. I did talk to the Speedway Club and they will do a special lunch for us on April 5 in the "Speedway Club" overlooking the Texas Motor Speedway. The only concern I have is the price, a buffet for us will be about $20.00 a head, I'm not sure how well that would sit with evryone. It would be a very nice lunch but I understand that's it's more than we usually spend on a lunch. If I could get some feedback as to the how many would come we can make a decision. I have to make a commitment to the club for about 35 people. Of course after lunch I want to have everyone drive to my new shop and check it out. Would love to have you come to this event, but will understand if we can't get enough people.
P.S. You can still come visit me anytime at the new shop and maybe we can put your car on the lift and clean the bottom of some of your beautiful Cobras.

Don, Looks Like I'm in!
Don,
Count me in! I"think" we don't have a volleyball tournament then, & I have no problem with $20. There are a few of us that may never have an opportunity to get up there again!
This is cool, and do you know if there is a childs menu or not? I am planning on bringing John jr, and I don't know if I need to starve him for a couple of days or not !!
John R
this is really cool for a monthly meeting!
