Count me in - probably bring a friend. Maybe the Dallas crew meet along the LBJ extension headed West somewhere...convoy over to TMS together.

You Bet!
I'll be there as well. I want to hang out with my buddy Tom.
Besides, I get to ride shotgun with Ray Russell.

Dumb Question
Any chances the Cobras can do a few laps around the track?

Several people have asked the same question and I would be willing to have a special event that all could bring Cobra or etc and do some hot laps. The only issue is getting enough people together to have an event. John Russell has mentioned it to me but we haven't worked on a plan or date. I am working on the 2004 TMS schedule as we speak. Maybe after everyone takes a look at the track during our April meeting they will want to drive it. Thanks, db

Mr. Barnes, Glad to hear about your venture.
With regards to your last post, taking hot laps, how much would something like that run? How many hot laps do we get? I would like to know so I can start selling a few bodily fluids to help with the cause... hahahahaha you can live with one kidney right.?.. hahahaha

Oh boy, I'm glad we talked!
Don,
Now I'm REALLY glad we talked! I think we can generate some serious interest in track time, so this is truly going to be a lunch meeting that is not to be missed!
Dick, I would be glad to form a caravan to drive over together, but we probably need to talk about what the arrival time should be at TMS. So, with that in mind, Don.....when do you want this group of ner-do-wells showing up on your doorstep?
And speaking of your doorstep at TMS, exactly where should we meet you? I expect we will be following Tom out, but for those that can't meet the caravan and don't really know their way around the track a bit of info would help.
This is going to be a fun one!

Really!
Are you sure you want to follow Tom to the TMS? Some one (from the Dallas Group) told me that Tom got everyone lost on the way to Austin for our Spring Meet.
Did that really happen? Inquiring minds would like to know.
