We do make a damn good impression
The below comment was made by Paul "rallysnake" about our group. It is great to be a part of a group like this. To make this type of impression makes me proud to be in the TCC. It's just another part of what makes this organization great.
Quote:
All of the people I met in Austin had great positive attitudes. Everyone was excited about the car and how THEY built it. Not once did I smell an attitude of "I spent more money on my car than you so I'm better than you". The best part was the stories of places people had DRIVEN their cars and the problems they had overcame along the way. I only regret that I did not get to meet some people.

I have to second rallysnakes assessment. In our almost one year with the TCC (DFW area) we have been highly impressed with the lack of "snobbiness" about the cars. And after Austin, it's apparent that the whole state is the same way.
Everyone's got an opinion, but nobody looks down on anyone for the decisions they make with their car. How they build it, what they do with it, if they race it or just show it, or some where in between. Makes the advice a lot more fun to get. And the get togethers even better.
