Official Golf Thread
OKAY! OKAY! OKAY!.... I HEARD YA! SO HERE IT IS.
THE DATE IS APRIL 12, 2003. THE PLACE IS TURTLE HILL GOLF COURSE IN MUENSTER, TEXAS, ABOUT 70 MILES FROM DOWNTOWN DALLAS. FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NEVER PLAYED THIS COURSE IT IS ONE OF THE MOST UNIQUE AND FUN TRACKS IN OUR GREAT STATE. THEY HAVE RECENTLY DONE MANY IMPROVEMENTS TO THE COURSE.
THE TEE TIMES I HAVE RESERVED START AT NOON AND GO FOR AS LONG AS WE NEED BUT I NEED TO TELL THE COURSE HOW MANY WE WILL HAVE NO LATER THAN FRIDAY MAY 28, 2003. THE GREEN FEES WILL BE BELOW $35.00 DEPENDING ON HOW MANY CARTS WE ARE GOING TO NEED. THIS WILL BE VERIFIED BY THE COURSE ON FRIDAY WHEN I CALL WITH THE FINAL COUNT.
SO THE TIME FOR TALK IS NOW OVER AND COMMITTMENTS NEED TO BE MADE. YOU GUYS ASKED FOR IT NOW IT'S TIME TO PUT UP OR RAG ME SOME MORE.
AS FOR THE RULES OF THE TOURNAMENT, I WILL MAKE THEM UP AS I SEE FIT AND IF I AM LOSING
ALL ARE WELCOME WHETHER GOOD OR BAD GOLFERS, HANDICAPPING WILL BE DONE IN A VERY SECRET MANNER SINCE ALL GOLFERS ARE LIARS ABOUT THEIR SCORES.
ANYONE COULD WIN THIS AND TIGER WOODS COULD LOSE THIS. IF I AM DOING THIS I GET FINAL SAY
ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT A GOOD TIME WILL BE HAD BY ALL,,, PLAYERS, CADDIES AND SPECTATORS....AWARDS PRESENTERS ARE SUPPOSED TO FURNISH THEIR OWN COTS FOR THE "BLOW FOR THE GOLD" WINNERS. LOSERS ARE SUPPOSED TO FURNISH THEIR OWN GOLD CARDS FOR JEWELRY. THE DECISIONS OF THE JUDEGE IS FINAL.....HEHEHEHE.
OKAY ITS TIME TO MAKE SOME COMMITMENTS HERE WHICH I AM NOT USED TO DOING......TALK TO ME OR FOREVER SHUT UP

No can do here! Vickie's son will be leaving here that day on his way to U.S.Navy boot camp. Won't be able to see him for three months. Have to support our new troops, and my new bride!!!

CORPORATE DECISION
WE ARE GOING TO KEEP SOME TEE TIMES OPEN ON THE 12TH BUT DO NOT WANT TO TAKE AWAY FROM THE WACO EVENT. THE BLOW FOR THE GOLD GOLF TOURNAMANET WILL BE RESCEDULED.
FUN GOLF AT TURTLE HILL WILL GO ON FOR GRINS. ALL ARE WELCOME. IT IS A REALLY FUN TRACK.
LET ME KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE WANT TO PLAY.

To golf or not to golf??
I would really like to play golf, but have made plans to spend the day in Waco - sounds like a fun event - and I want to support the Waco group. If not for this schedule conflict, I would be there. I have heard good things about Turtle Hill and was scheduled to play there a couple of years ago, but got rained out. Maybe next time.
