Was at the planning meeting last night. Eddie Ashlemann, James Yates, Bob Wilson, David Kidwell and the guys are planning an event and location that way exceeds all expectations. Good response from Big D and Austin, and of course Waco. Food will be great, scenery around Lake Waco first rate, with newly remodeled facility, and really pretty drive destinations.
Y'all Come!

Kathy and I might take a ride Saturday morning to Waco. Hopefully we can eat BBQ around 12:00 am. We need to get back early. Hope to see everyone there. Any specific directions for a noon arrival?

Bob,
We will go if the trucking company picks up the ERA before then. We are on their schedule unfortunately.
Dick called this morning and he is also planning to go.

Well shoot - my Austin trip has been postponed, and the SWMBO tells me I will be working the yard this weekend repairing the fence, cleaning the flowerbeds, yada, yada, yada.....
Y'all have fun, and I hope this event is a huge success -- a Waco Event for TCC would be great!!

Who What Where When
Who all is going from Dallas?
What are you driving your Cobra grocery getter or towing?
Where are you meeting up?
When are you meeting up?
As of now it looks like I can make it. Not sure if I can make it down there on one tank but I am willing to give it a try if others are driving.
James, Dick, O Royal One are you still in?
See Ya Saturday

Road trip!!
I am driving...even washed the SilverCobra last night...bringing a friend - leaving Dallas around 8:00 or 9:00 - I think I can get there on one tank (99 miles) - if not - Italy (that's Texas - pronounced "IT LE", not in Europe) is halfway to Waco and has a great new truck stop. James and Jeanne are going in the SPF if his ERA is picked up today...he is to call me tonight and finalize his deal. He is a maybe. I spoke with Tom yesterday - he may go, but not sure. He will naturally tow the trailer due to his octane requirement if he goes.
All else are welcome - should be great weather for a one day road trip with plenty of blue skies, 75 degree weather and the bluebonnets are at the peak this week. Mom say - remember your sunscreen.
John - I will be glad to hook up with you somewhere on Central on your commute down from McKinney and we can head down I-35 together.
