okay I'm tired but
I know of two mfgs in this club that no one else has. How many other cobras are the only REPLICAS that there is only one of? There used to be one other owned my RENMAN but he has dissapeared. It was an SMC and he sold it.

yep long ago
Corey Hess owned the Johnex but do you remember that Renman owned the only SMC cobra. Both were sold 5-6 years ago. I did find another Smc here in Dallas, worked on it for a day or two and then it dissapeared.
Need Harder questions please.
Jay....dang I forgot that I asked this one

No big deal Jay. We need an easy one every once it a while to keep it moving along and be fun as well. I really appreciate your input on this thread.

OK,
On Jim Woodard's other black Cobra, The Lone Star, The engine that was in it was the same physical size (not displacement) as another popular engine for our cars.
What was the engine and which engine is the exact same physical size as the one he had in the Lone Star.

Just a guess here,
390? Is the 390 the same size as a 427?

You're kidding, I got that right?
Jim's current Superformance paint scheme has the beginnings of the Terlingua Racing Team Cobra (I've seen dated at 1966) minus the numbers and racing decals.
A) Is this where he got the idea for the paint scheme?
B) Did this car truly exist and if so, where did it run?
These might be a stretch for Tx Club Trivia, but questions having to do with Texas and Cobras nonetheless.

I don't know either but the wide cast of this net will hopefully snag someone who does.
I've become facinated by the Terlingua Racing Team story and legend. Maybe my future Mustang vintage racer's paint scheme is coming more into focus.....

Miles, this mustang is run by .... hmmmm what's his name????
owns or manages Dallas Mustang. can't remember. Anyway, DJ (who works at DM) takes this car around different shows. It usually shows up at the AER show.
The SCAT group (Shelby Cobra Assoc. of Texas) had Bill Neale do a 'reverse' rabbit for their logo.

Yep, I've checked out Dallas Mustang and these awesome cars. They come with an awesome price tag, though. It's more resto-mod modified than I need.

I do not know where the inspiration came from. maybe Jim can drop in and answer this for us.
I also have a question about his car I do not know the answer to.
In the description on each post it says the car is AWD.
Is that All Wheel Drive, or what? I do not know but if it is it would be cool.
Jim.....

Jay,
Are you telling us this car did actually exist?
I have no idea the answer. I have seen the car at AER before and I seem to remember seeing a car in a magazine. We all know Terlingua existed but I do not know about the paint scheme.
