Forgot to feed the hamsters?

Bobby played a trick on him by pulling off the battery cable?

Wrong key?

Thumbs up Ok, Ok, Ok..............

here's the scoop!! First, James and John, sorry, but wrong answers.

After everyone fueled and we were ready to leave, John turned the ignition key and nothing happened. He was kind of panicing, not knowing what was wrong. So, I suggested he put the transmission in gear, move the car slightly and try again. Sure, enough, that beast fired right up and off we went. So, what was wrong? Not sure, but guess the starter might have been stuck with the starter gear lodged against a tooth on the flywheel.

End of story.

Next question.

Jim

Wink NEW ONE

STEVE AND I TALKED ABOUT THIS ONE. KEITH WILLIAMS (KEITHW) HAS TWO COBRAS. THE WHITE EVERETT MORRISON IS A STRETCH WHEELBASE 98" VERSION THAT WAS AT ONE TIME A VERY GOOD DRAG CAR. THIS CAR WAS ALSO USED FOR PROMOTIONS AND FUND RASING FOR SHELBY'S HEART FOUNDATION EVEN THOUGH IT HAS AND HAD A CHEVY MOTOR. IT WAS PROBABLY THE MOST VISIBLE COBRA IN THE STATE THAT IT WAS IN. SHELBY HIMSELF SENT THE OWNER LETTERS ASKING HIM TO KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK ON BEHALF OF THE FOUNDATION.

QUESTION IS...WHERE DID THE CAR COME FROM OR WHO OWNED THE CAR BEFORE KEITH BOUGHT IT?

JAY

Smile hint

THIS CAR HAS AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION BECAUSE THE PREVIOUS OWNER LOST A LEG IN A MEDICAL ACCIDENT. HE ALSO HAD A ZR1 CORVETTE FOR SALE AT THE SAME TIME. HE LIVES IN THE STATE CAPITOL OF THE STATE THE CAR WAS PURCHASED IN. HE WAS ONE OF THE VERY FIRST CLUB COBRA MEMBERS. THE CAR WAS USED IN MORE PROMOTIONS PROBABLY THAN ANY OTHER REPLICA.

HOW MANY DO YOU GUYS NEED??

JAY

P.S. IF NO ONE GETS IT TODAY I WILL ANSWER THE QUESTION AND POST AGAIN TOMORROW MORNING.

Question

I remember he was from Baton Rouge - had a cool web site - posts seemed to indicate he was pretty nice guy. I want to say his name was Cobra Ed or something, but maybe not.

Question Say What??

Texas Cobra Club - Austin - One TCC member and his Cobra have been there all four years. Feb '03 his car was there, but he was not driving it.

1. Who is the member?
2. Who drove his Cobra?
3. What car did he drive?

Does that sound confusing enough?:confused

Dick

I want to say Jim Woodard. There are not that many people that have been there every year. Tom Meadows drove his, Gary Morris drove his, Paul Cass drove his, John Russell drove his. I did not actually see Jim drive his car, but unless he was driving one of Don's then it stands to reason he would have been driving his.

This should be an easy one, Guess not.

Dick
we are going to need some hints on this.

Where is Morris when you need him. This one is right up his alley, (so to speak)

Ok, Ok - Hint - his Cobra is Blue/white stripe, but remember he did not drive this car to Austin '03. It was driven by someone else. Another clue this time tomorrow if no one gets it.

Default Twern't me!

Matt,
Both my car & I have attended Austin every year, but did not drive in 2002- trailered in Drews trailer pulled by Gary Sharapata- bad Ford/MSD ignition which we replaced in the hotel parking lot. I drove in 2003, so I have no clue on this one!
Good question Dick, and a real stumper!!
John R.
