Actually it was Sellards ERA and James changed the color to black...it was the best choice of color after all

A simple question for which I don't know the answer...
How many members are in the Texas Cobra Club.

OK here is one.
Who in our TCC club almost went to jail over the way thier Cobra was registered. In fact the car was impounded and the wrecker tore the front end up on the car while towing it in. The car was towed from the front like a normal car would be towed. The fiberglass front end crumbled as any of our cars would.
The problem was that our felloww TCC memeber ran into a roge cop that was pissed because he spent all his money on dounuts instead of a cobra!
Who is TCC memeber and or what car am I speaking about?

You talking about Paul Cass? I remember he had a few run ins with the cops in Corpus over the car...they thought the mustang parts were stolen?
Also James I would think Dick would have to answer that but I would bet we have over 400 members.

Yes
Paul Cass had trouble because the local donut cruisers thought the car was built with stolen parts. From what i remember of the story Paul had a real hard time with this guys on several occasions. Hope all is well now Paul!
James I am sorry I missed you rquestion. I do not know either how many members are in the TCC. any other guesses? Don't have any idea how to varify the correct answer!

187 sounds about right
Well - doing a copy and paste into Excel from the web site - the number comes in at 187. I deleted about 50 names a couple of months ago after the Austin'03 meeting. About 50 never showed up, never resonded to my e-mail about membership cleanup or had a bad e-mail address. Only one has contacted me since then & e-mailed me to put him back on the list. I have a couple of names to add, but the work has kept me pretty busy.

hey guys
i'm still kicking. summer is tennis season for me, so i'm gone a lot. i will be posting for my fall event in the next couple of weeks. it will be the weekend of november 7-9th. as for my cobra being the one inpounded, it was. however i was allowed to drive it to the inpound yard, escourted by several barnery fifes'. no damage to the cobra. no problems since.....knock on wood. see ya.
