Default april car show-wow!

hey guys
wow! what a weekend. started earlier on thursday afternoon when our mustang and ford club met at one of the tv stations to promote the saturday car show. had about 20 cars show up. the female reporter wanted to do an interview from one of the cars. guess who's car. yep, mine. of course several of my students saw the program and recognized the cobra. next we went to my shop for pizza and the hi-light for all of us ford guys was when a roll back delivered a chevy truck to one of the auto shops near me. we all cheered. i get harassed all the time by all of the chevy guys near my shop. friday i went to the monthly cruise night at the drive-in. one other cobra and a bunch of cars. left early so that i could get my 3 mile run in. up early saturday for our car show at crosstown ford. beautiful day! bright sun, lite wind, and over 100 cars showed up! biggest event we've had. had to lock the gates as we ran out of room to put cars. had 4 cobras. ken smith and his era, wayne serpa and his ff, glen in his classic roadster, and yours truely with my lone star. ken and i were there for display and wayne won 2nd in his class. my wife judy's 65 mustang finished 2nd in her class. free food, free music, door prizes, 50-50, hope everyone had a great time. sunday was another beautiful day so i went cruising after playing tennis, running 3 miles, washing 2 cars, and then mowing the lawn. got lots of thumbs ups! well, now its back to reality and school. yuk! hope to see some of you guys this weekend in dallas.

hey ken
i can remember faces, but sadly not that many names after 33 years of teaching! you'll just have to drop by hooters and tell them that they missed your car and they need to get pictures with it also. you're on your own from there.

Paul, any chance you can get the Hooters girls to return for the November show? Please? Pretty Please?

(Any chance some of your former female students are exotic dancers?)
