Appraiser Needed in Houston Area
ERA #644 roared to life today.
Next is the insurance and registration process.
I need to have the car appraised for insurance purposes. Does anyone have the name of an appraiser that they would recommend?
Thanks.

Rick,
Don Henderson did the appraisal on my car. I'd reccomend him in a minute. He will drive to your home for a reasonable fee.
His phone# is 713-680-8429
Good luck and congrats. can't wait to see your car at the meeting.

Rick, you could also call Peter at ERA...tell him what you need, he can help you. By the way, if you have a number in mind for the value of your car, and if it appraises for more, make sure that the appraiser says "...the appraised value of ERA #644 is (your number) or greater.", or "...in excess of (your number)." If the appraisal is more than the amount you want to state, the insurance company may require that you insure it for the higher number.

Peter gladly supplied the appraisal for mine based on the replacement value through ERA. PLus, it was free.

Guys,
Thanks for the input. I'll try Peter first. It may be the first time that I talk to him and don't have to follow up with a check!
Hope to be able to make the next Houston meeting. If all goes well the car will be inspected, titled and registered the day before the meeting.
Thanks again.
