Funeral Arrangements for Ronnie Reed
I've just been informed of the funeral arrangements for Ronnie Reed.
There will be a wake on Thursday, July 3, 2003, at 0930 with the funeral to follow at 1230 at the funeral home. The funeral home in charge is...
St. Bernard Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home
701 W. Virtue Street
Chalmette, LA 70043
Phone : 504-279-6376
I've asked my fellow SPF owners to fill this place with flowers. Please help us. I don't need to tell you all how much Ronnie was loved and repected bySPF owners...and with his participation in most, if not all, of the TCC events, I'm pretty sure you share the same feelings. My prayers and sympathies go out to his widow, Linda, and his brother, Doug, Doug's wife Connie, and to all the family members. Please take a moment to remember Ronnie and his family in your prayers.
A great light has been extinguished...
Sail on, Ronnie....we'll meet again, my good fiend!

I enjoyed the small amount of time that I got to spend with him.
My prayers are with the family. He will be missed.

I really don't know what to say.. this is such a shock. I met Ronnie twice - first in Tulsa at Mid-America 2002 and then again in Austin Feb 2003. This is just terrible.
I've considered Doug a very good friend for five years now, since I first met him in Dallas in February 1998, then visiting his shop in New Orleans soon after. Doug has always been kind and cordial to me, keeping my Dream of cobra ownership alive even after all this time. The Reeds feel like family to me now and this one really hurts. I pray for the Reeds and their loved ones.

To Ronnie Reeds family and friends,
Sincere condolences and prayers for Ronnie and the loved ones he leaves behind. Sudden loss of a vibrant partner and friend is the hardest to accept. No words or kind gestures make the grief less harsh only time and the closeness of friends and family will start the healing process and in the fullness of time moving forward with life.

We just returned from vacation to hear the bad news. Ronnie, we'll miss you. I can only think that the Big Guy upstairs decided he wanted a Cobra too and needed your help. Rest well my friend.
