You probably saw our post about the last minute get together we had to meet Wrench on Thursday... Well, we had a great time.

About 7 cars and about 22 people gathered at a crowded Bostons rest. to meet Wrench and have some dessert. Even Dave from Kountze (sp?) joined us!

Now.. Austinites, Houstonians and San Antonians... If we can gather that many people and cars together in less than 2 days and on a week night, you should be able to do the same...

We challenge you to beat that!!!!

In fact, I will make it worth your while... Of those three cities, whoever has the largest local club gathering between now and September 1st, will get a very special prize!!!

The Grand Prize?? Well, I don't have one yet BUT the LOSER will get the following... Tom Meadows performing a striptease dance for the losers during next year's Austin event!! That should be motivation to win!

Chime in DFW, let's harass them until they get active again!

Hey I do NOT want to see Tom in a pickarious manner. Someone needs to get there act together down south to avoid the blindness that will surely follow.

Hey sorry I missed the get together, We had planned on coming out but one of the youngsters got upset tummy.

It's about the people not the cars!

BTW if the prize is good enough we could pull together a group from just KELLER / or Tarrant county, and compete. I met another guy in Argyle that is building one mean FFR. Gary sold him the engine and don't even know it!

Then he told me of yet another guy from Flower Mound that is building a big block MONSTER FFR.

Geeze just off the top of my head I can count 11 club memebers in this area. Heck won't be long and you Dallas Guys will want to come over to play at our house. I mean with Don haveing the place at TMS and all!

About 6 more weeks (if it goes as planned) and I'll be on the road. Can't wait.

Oh, this was our first TCC event, and Jan and I are very glad to meet all of you, a great bunch of folks who we felt right at home with. I will have to work on names though...

settle down boy! I wasn't pickin' on you. I'm offering positive reinforcement that we miss you and Steve not having cars to drive, that's all. I'm on your side, believe me.

So, I join in on the challenge to the other local clubs in Texas. Let's see what you guys can do?

Ok Austin its time to sac up and not let Tom come down here and embarass us (or him). I think we can do much better than that.

That mental image of Tom is making me sick. Have to go and find the toliet.
