Friday Night cruise in San Antonio

this message is for all who plan to attend the cruist night in San Antonio.

I received this message today.

To the San Antonio car community;

It seams we have fallen victom to our success. The city fo Selma is requiring us to have a "mass gathering permit" along with EMS coverage and appropriate insurance, all of whitch we are willing to obtain. The Forum, in the meantime, has put Cruise Night on hold to explore their own liabilities for this event, therefor this Friday night cruise is off.

Our crowds have been in excess of 2000 people with 300-350 cars,and bikes showing up for display. That, in and of itself, has drawn the attention of the city of Selma and others who want to be sure that they are covered.

My apologies for this delay, and hopefully we will have all issues resolved soon, but please help spread the word that Cruise night at the Forum is on hold for the time being.

Ya know what is this world coming to?

That has to be one of the most PEACEFUL assembly of 2000 people I have been to. The merchants have to be pissed and the the city is losing tax dollars from us being out there.

Any new ones pop up?

It looks like the cruise night at the fourm shopping center is not going to happen anytime soon. I have not heard of any other place picking it up. You could call the phone number in my original post. They may have a new place.

I will be leaving for mississippi (cuising the coast.) Friday night or Saturday mourning, see you in a couple of weeks.
