We have blocked out 50 rooms at the newly completed Casino Magic Hotel @ $79 per night. These must be reserved, by phoning Kathy or Melissa 504-276-4386 and registering first with her, as only registered cars will be allowed these blocked rooms. There should be additional rooms for participants without cars. Kathy and Melissa are our registration coordinators and will be able to answer any questions you may have about the event or accommodations.
This event is being planned in early October due to the usual mild fall climate, with temperatures usually within the 60-70 degree range. There is always a small chance of rain being on the Gulf Coast. We will have plan “B” in place should it rain with some covered parking and covered party areas.
For you “Gear Heads” that just can’t seem to get enough, you can plan to stay around for the adjoining week, Oct 5-12, for “Cruisin’ The Coast” as seen on TV with Dennis Cage. This event attracts over 6000 registered cars from Street Rods, Muscle cars to antiques and more. The streets do get crowded, and the traffic can be slow moving mostly on the main weekend of the 11-12th.
Honestly, with what we have planned, you should be partied out by Sunday morning, and let’s face it, we don’t want to push too much of this macho-horsepower stuff on our lovely spouses, ‘cause then they will want to retaliate and screw up our priorities with some useless purchase like a refrigerator, or another piece of jewelry.(these are documented facts, so take heed)
We look forward to seeing all our Cobra friends, please register now to secure your spot, as we only have a few spots available.
Thanks,
New Orleans Superformance owners and Reed Performance Motorsports

GEEEEEEEZE DOUG,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
I THOUGHT THIS WAS TO BE AN EXCLUSIVE EVENT
NOW AN OPEN INVITE TO THE TCC
ARE THE GASHOLES NEXT
SERIOUSLY, WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS EVENT. AND MEETING MANY OF THE TCC MEMBERS. WHAT ABOUT DSCC MEMBERS WITH SPF's, ARE THEY INVITED ALSO?
AS I UNDERSTAND, FLYING FREDDIE (DSCC) HAS BIG PLANS IN STORE.
FREDDIE, ARE WE STILL PLANNING ON RIBS ON THURSDAY.
I'LL SEE IF THE KITCHEN SINK CAN FIT IN THE TRAILER. NO DISH WASHER THOUGH.
DOUG, ON A VERY SERIOUS NOTE, I AM IN HOPES THAT THOSE OF US IN ATTENDANCE CAN FORMALLY MAKE A MOTION TO RENAME THIS EVENT AS: "THE RONNIE REED MEMORIAL SNAKE RATTLE AND ROLL." (OR WORDS TO THAT EFFECT)
SEE YOU SOON,
TERRY LEE

Terry, I looked around and saw that we had the likes of you and Freddie signed up, then decided that we must allow some of the upper eschelon in to be politically correct. I've seen that discrimination stuff, and it ain't pretty. I figure we get these non-SPF owners tanked up on some Liquor, kill some of them brain cells and who knows they might be fun when they get down to our level. I'll bet on it.
Yes, I have also invited the DSCC. We all love our cars and love to be around people who enjoy them. We decided we could accomodate more cars, so the more the merry-er.
I'm working on my Jambalaya cooking, so far no casualties. Gonna' be hard to fill Ronnie's cooking duty, but I'm studying hard.
Doug

Watch Out
I'm leaving Carol home for this one. I've been called many things, but never stupid.
Save me a case of beads for all those liquored up girl friends of the "other guys"
I may not be from Mo., but "Show Me" is a great motto. Wonder if it'll work on 'em.
I just realized why you NEED some upper eschelon in attendance.
Flyin' Freddie has promised to keep his pants on though - at least until midnight.

Doug, Mary & I have been signed up for a while!
WOW,
I haven't been on the forum for a couple of days due to a very heavy schedule with Lyndsie & John jr, and look what I find! I have been signed up for a few months, and we are really looking forward to this event! Our 20th. anniversary is this month (Sept. 17th), but we plan to celebrate it at this event. Gary S., Drew, Mary & I had tentatively planned to come over together, but that was prior to his new car, so the more the merrier!!!
This is not to be missed so I urge the TCC to jump on this band wagon while you can so check it out and get on the phone and sign up. We could make a pretty cool caravan you know, and Dennis can lead the charge from Houston!
Get after it guys.
The Russell's are booked!!

Ha! Like you are gonna' have ANY money left to loose after next week. You did say you were picking up the bar tab, and I'll keep Vicky away from the jewelry shops in St. Thomas. Deal?

I'll take the bar tab, people can only drink so much. Jewelry stores should be used only in an emergency. Can't compete with that. Later, db
