Thank you TCC
I want to thank all the Texas Cobra Club members that came out to the Carrollton Police Dept car show last month. We raised over $1700 that goes to the Carrollton Police Activities league. I hope you enjoyed yourself and I had a great time.
I am sorry that this is a little late, my sister died on that day and we had our baby a week later, I have been a little busy.
Bad news-- with 100 miles on my car, the engine went bye bye. I picked it up from the alignment shop and noticed a knock in the engine. We pulled the pan and saw that the bearings and crank were trash. We also noticed that the rods appeared to be used. I don not know what I am going to do now, however I am taking the motor to Keith Craft Motorsports on Saturday to have a complete fix. I will let you know what is going on. Right now I am not going to say anymore.
Thanks again, hopefully I will have a Craft engine in it in a few weeks.
Todd

Todd, Don't want to stir up a problem but most builders will stand behind their work. Was this engine new or used? db

Wow Todd - what a roller coaster of emotions for you. I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your sister. I'm sure something terrible like that must make the engine problems seem pretty insignificant.
Hang in there.

Todd,
It certaily sounds like you have had a bittersweet month. We are also sadened for the lass of your sister but very glad to hear aobut the new addition to the family.
I agree with Don. Don't let the original engine builder get off easy. Stick with Keith building your new engine but at least try to get some money back from the other person.
Best of luck!

endine
engine came from lonestar. It is at Ketih Craft now and all I can say is that lonestar did not sell me what they said they did. I am going to try to beg borrow and steal to get a Craft motor. I was a Keith Craft Motorsports today and what a professional group. I feel confident that we will have something soon.
I am working with someone to try to get me something back for my motor, we will see, however it is the price you pay for being a little inexperienced in the engine area.
What comes around goes around.
thanks
Todd

Todd, Sorry to hear about your problems but I wouldn't just drop the issue. There are laws, lemon laws I think they are called that are suppose to protect people from this type of BS.
Thanks, db

new engine????
I was told that I bought a new engine and that only the block was old. Then told that the block and crank are old. I now know what was in the engine. I do have legal advice on this and will be following up this week on it. I am not going to discuss anymore here, however I will not let it be.
Todd
p.s. by the way our baby's name is Emily Marie came in at 8 lbs 9 oz.
