Panoz Street Legal GTR-1
I got a real treat this weekend. I got to see the Panoz Street Legal GTR-1 in San Antonio at Hovey Motor Cars.
http://www.hoveymotorcars.com/
http://www.geocities.com/exoticars08874/PANOZ.html
$1,000,000 sales price, 700HP, and a $50K paint job.
Don Barnes, you need to get one of these for your Panoz Racing School at TMS.
I also got to see a Spyker C8 Spyder which was under wraps. Cost $250,000.

Ed, We used this car at the Dallas car show this year, it was something to see. This car was used by Panoz for the homoligation process for Panoz to race at Le Mans. All cars that race must be based on a street car, and that was the Panoz street car. The process was to build a race car and make it "street legal." Don't try this unless you have gobs of cash.
Good pictures, db

Batmobile?
The Panoz GTR-1 reminds me of the "Batmobile".

Not a fan of the Panoz in the posted photos or the "movie" version of the batmobile for that matter. I can think of much more beautifully designed cars for the $1,000,000 price tag. The Saleen S7 for example is gorgeous and costs about half as much!!
By the way...I still like the t.v. series batmobile better than the more recent versions.
Just my 2 cents. :-)
