Parking and Security
For those of us who will drive our Cobras to this event, what is the parking and security situation?
Thanks,

Thanks for your support!
Colleen, It would be great if you would do the name tags this year. When ever you want to start the sign up thread, go for it. (Stuck needs to make the thread a sticky.) TCC members need to identify all family and friends attending, identify residence (town and state), and make of Cobra(s) being driven.
Examples:
Ed & Kathy Csoltko - Austin, Texas - FFR
Mike Schriber - Austin, Texas - None
(Please remember to keep this thread clean of chatter, those who want to BS can start another thread.)
Great suggestion about the table in the hotel. As TCC members sign in at the hotel, they can pick up the name tags and packets containing cruise instructions, raffle tickets, etc..
Greg, Hopefully you will host a packet stuffing party at your place like we did last year.
Stuck, Don't forget to contact Paula about raffel prizes. Are you designing a tee shirt for the 2004 Spring Meet?

Media and Additional Support
I contacted Jack Puryear and informed him of our February spring meet. Jack has photographed our yearly meets for the past three years.
I will start contacting the TV stations in January as usual.
Anyone who has contacts with the TV media and cruising magazines are welcome to assist.
Does anyone have access to Xerox copier. I have the cruise instructions and map ready to Xerox.
Mr. TCC President (Stuck), did you contact Paula at the Finish Line for raffle give aways?
Greg, Do you still have raffle tickets left from last year?
We need registration packets which include name tags, raffle tickets, cruise instructions and maps, etc. ready by February 27th at the Hotel Lobby in Round Rock.
A small folding table will be needed in the Hotel lobby for TCC check in purposes by Friday afternoon.
We need a few TCC members to help with the sign-in process and hand out the packets at the Hotel.
Any other thoughts on what we need, please post them.
Can someone from the Round Rock area pick up Brent and Sherrie Mills (Club Cobra) at the airport and get them to the hotel on Friday? They will also need a ride back to the airport on Sunday. If not, I will do it. Call me at 512-288-0446.

Cruise Options
I read alot of comments about how everyone enjoyed the Devil's Backbone cruise last year. So I updated our 2004 Hill Country Cruise for those who would like to drive over to the Backbone and back as an option. This will add an additional 28.1 miles to our existing cruise.
For those gals who would like to stop in Wimberley and shop is also an option.

Anything I can do to help?
Hey guys, this event plan looks GREAT just as it is. Great job, Ed. If there is anything I can do to help, let me know. I'll probably bring some stuff to snack on Friday for the tailgate party. Remember when Doug brought the gumbo? It was just enough to take the edge off and people didn't have to break up the party and run to a restaurant. I think we ended up in the hotel bar but only because the weather was so bad.
I can speak from personal experience about the band.....we DON'T need one. Although I had fun playing at the 02 event, it really didn't fit.
Ed, call me if you need help (P.A., airport shuttle, signs, etc.)

P.A. and Security
Hey guys,
Tom, the Royal One, is going to bring a bull horn instead of me setting up the mic and speakers. Fits with our K.I.S.S. policy
Also, I've emailed our favorite security guard to ask him if he'll watch the cars for us at El Arroyo's on Saturday. We'll need to take up a small collection for him (about $1.50 per car) but it's well worth it and he takes his job VERY seriously. I've also extended an invitation to him to come hang out with us on Friday night.....he's kind of like an honorary member
Over and out,
Charmer

Cruise Support for 80 Cobras
With 78+ Cobras on the road cruising the Texas Hill Country, we need emergency backup plans.
Who can provide open trailers, drivers, tools, etc. behind the Cobra convoy?
Any suggestions are welcome!

Co Pilot With experience!
Ed,
I was hoping to Co Pilot with somebody. But I can drive a Truck and Trailer. I will bring hand tools in my truck if need be.
I think we need to get a list of local cell numbers for our out of town guests.
All Austin people can email there cell numbers and I will add to the packet stuff!

Please, Someone point me to exactly where I can send people who want all the info on this event. I have people who might want to visit, but can't find a post that tells it all. DATE, Place, etc.
Thanks,
Doug Reed

Ed, If you would edit your post to include the date and name of Hotell etc. that would do all I need to help anyone in gathering the info they may need to attend. Sure if they want to read through two long threads they could find it, but, this way it would be a snap. Any updated info also would help.
Thanks,
Your post:
I got the restaurant booked for lunch, and the Hill Country cruise planned. The only thing we all need to establish is where to stage this event. We all beat the Origin parking facility to death. So do we have any other options or suggestions?
Friday: ????? Feb. 27th
(1) Arrive at hotel. name ???????? Phone ?????? address
(2) Evening tailgate gathering in hotel parking lot from 5:00 - 12.00 pm.
(3) Dinner at local hotel area restaurants (pay as you go).
