Question Still looking for an engine shop in Houston

I'm not having any luck in finding a decent shop to figure out why I'm having misfiring, even after having replaced everything right down to the battery! I have heard of a shop on HWY 6 or 1960 that's supposed to know their stuff, but can't remember their name of find them in the phone book. I'm not referring to a certain "houston performance" shop that butchered up my motor in the first place. (....are you in litigation with them too?) Is there anyplace/anyone that you would trust locally to sort out this type of problem? My current shop is well meaning, but they are stumped....

Bent,
There's no one on Hwy 6 I'd recommend. I've heard fairly good stuff about Poutous on 1960 for daily drivers...never used 'em, though
Poutous 1960 Repair Inc

Have you tried this forum? What is your problem, what kind of motor and ignition, symptoms, details, etc.? There's a LOT of REAL smart folks on this forum!

Call Greg Lucas at Lucas Restoration. Helped me build my engine and does great work. His shop has helped an number of the guys in the Houston area with their cobras. Depending on what race season it is when you drop by you have a good chance of seeing everything from a racing miata to a ferrari.

His number is 713-462-0068. His shop is off of hemstead hiway and Gessner

I can do it if you're still looking. My stepfather and I operate a successful auto garage in SW Montgomery County close to The Woodlands. In the last ten years we have become well known for honesty, good work, and reasonable prices. We don't have a fancy performance geared shop, just a normal one but we work on everything from 60 year old tractors to supercharged, rotarys, etc. I've been building and working on high performance engines of all types since I was a kid, from carbs to fuel injection, from 24 vavle Japanese V6's to big blocks. I have excellent tuning skills and we have good equipment.

Come by or give me a call if you're interested and we can discuss your problem and what I can do for you.
