Congratulations!!!
I spent several years as a H.S. basketball official and bought car parts that way while building my cobra. Few people understand the time and dedication it takes to excel as an official. I never got an opportunity to do tournament play at the state finals level, but I have some buddies who did. It's an honor and a privilege. Enjoy it to the max.

How very cool!
Who's the teams?? I know it's not Naaman Forest. They're playing in Tyler. Too bad, if it's cold they'll need some extra nice officials.

Fred,
The Tom I know wouldn't do anything like that. By the way do you want to buy the Brooklyn Bridge.

Tom,
Howdy from Yellow Springs, Ohio
Got you message today with the great news, but I am sure that since it is past 8pm, you are asleep (so I didn't call you back)
That is wonderful news!!! I wish I could be there to take pictures for you... But I am sure you will be there again soon!
Anyone else going there to watch him??? Heckle him??? If so, try to get on the field to take some pictures of him.
We're proud of you Thomas! Good luck!

All kidding aside.
I have no question that Tom and his crew were choosen because of their superior knownledge, abilities and conduct in performing their duties as football officals.
I see this honor as a reward for their hard work and honesty over many years on the football field.

Some people are lacking in integrity and charactor.
Wonder if he is teaching his low standards to the kids that look up to him ???
"Which we don't we just try to keep it a level playing field!" - Tom
EXACTLY !!!
That is why you got what you did.Integrity honesty, character, ability, judgement and hard work. This is what that coach should be teaching too.

Now wait a minute Tom. You've got some Samuell alums in this illustrious group. Seems to me that you can be fair and still make some "good" calls for the "right" team.
Isn't Samuell 5-5? My thoughts when I read that in yesterdays paper.... "Samuells gonna get the crap beat out of them."
It's too bad Alan and I can't make it out tonite. After years and years of HS football on Friday nights, we've gone inside - symphony tickets. And the Naaman Forest game is just too damn far to go to.
Have fun!
