Default Superformance Shin-dig

So let's get a report on the TMS event with Don and Doug. Wish I could have been there.

Any pictures of the Daytona? Anyone wreck it? Anyone buy one?

Greg and Keith,

When are your cars going to be in?

Don and Doug had a great turnout. Great food and great beer and wine. They really put on a neat event.

The Coupe was outstanding. I got to drive it last week on the track at No Problem Raceway. The car handles very nicely. Plenty of power and incredible brakes.

My Coupe should be at Dougs around the second week of December with Gregg's a week behind.

Try and make it out to TMS this Saturday if you can.

Keith Craft, Drew and Ed Wayland from Roushe were there also.

Are you going to the auto auction this weekend?

Let's try and hook up if you are.

Keith

Keith,

I will be at the auction at some point in the early afternoon but I don't have a time. I would like to head out to TMS but don't have the time this weekend.

Hope you see you at the auction!

Talking James- WHOAH!!!!!!!

James,
Wednesday was an almost magical evening with the unveiling of the new Superformance Brock Coupe. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL MACHINE!! As expected, Doug Reed and Don Barnes really know how to put on a shindig!
Now for the real kicker- Saturday!! John jr & I drove out to TMS on Saturday morning, arriving about 9:10am. We met David Tittle and Matt Tice, who also drove their Cobras, and after signing in with the prerequesite wavers, we ALL got to drive the Coupe! What a thrill, and the car is absolutely neutral handling, and it is extremely obvious this car has a top end that is truly out of sight!
As expected of a Superformance product, the fit and finish is absolutely A++, and all this with air conditioning!!
I absolutely can't wait to see the cars that Keith and Gregg & Vicki have coming, and- BOY- Will Austin be something this year!!
John Russell
ps. No wrecks when we had to leave, but Bobby Worley & John Ross were waiting to drive when we left, but I doubt anything happened- other than hastily written additions to Santa's lists

Thanks to all the people that came to the Wednesday Coupe Party and the driving event on Saturday. Several people got pictures of the Brock Coupe and hopefully they will post soon. The Coupe is beautiful on the track and everyone that wanted to drive, I think got in the car.

Thanks again, db

Great time on Wednesday night and Saturday. Drew and I drove my new SPF out to Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday to put a few miles on it and see the Coupe on the track. What a great day even though the wind could blow you off the road it was a cool 80 degrees and sunny.

Coupe had a small problem with power steering pump going out after Doug was playing cat and mouse with the Panoz race cars. Sure looked cool on the track and Doug and Doug Jr. had it fixed in no time at all. David Tittle, Matt Tice, Drew and I cruised back from the track latter in the afternoon on what turned out to be just another great Cobra day!

Thanks Doug and Don for a great Coupe introduction!

Default Track Day Pictures!

Here are some pictures from Saturday's track day!!

<<== Click Here!!

Thanks to Don Barnes, Doug Reed, and everyone with Panoz Driving School, Superformance of Texas and Reed Performance Motorsports for a fantastic day! The car is unbelieveable - what a rush! I got three hot laps pushing it (almost) to the limit - and my wife Anneliese got to drive as well!! Now I have a bigger problem: figuring out how to afford an SPF MkIII and a coupe in this lifetime!!

Bobby, Thanks for posting those great Pics. Can you believe that our Waitress at the Hotel Restaurant was another Anneliese??? Weird, not sure of the spelling. Doug Jr. seems to think it is a sign since he has a baby on the way and will find out Tuesday what sex it is.

Gary and Drew, fixed the Coupe PS pump and then looked for you guys to drive it........sorry I didn't even get a chance to check out Gary's finished product.

Thanks to all for coming, What a great job Don and his bunch did. Nice to see everyone there.

My package arrived with the exhaust and other things to finish out the coupe. The factory has worked out a sensor and valve to lessen the PS at speed.

Doug

James, The wheels are from Roush and are not the production wheels, the production wheels will be in stock in a few weeks.

Thanks, db

I really think the wheels look great on the car.

You are going to sell a bunch of those cars, Don!

The fit and finish on the car was outstanding. And beautiful to behold inside and out. To the lucky few who end up with one, congratulations.

Doug, yes that is the correct spelling, its a german name. She's half german, half british. And you can't BELIEVE what a great time she had on Saturday - she hasn't stopped talking about it!!

shoot me an e-mail offline at bwcobra15 at yahoo.com - I can't e-mail you directly from here.
