can muffler that is, damn you guys need to get your heads out of the gutter!!

Ok, first picture is looking into the cone. It is inside a 3" piece of straight exhaust pipe:




Next, a picture of the pointy end of the cone (technical term):




Finally, a crappy picture of the finished product before the final clean-up, sanding & coating:




Mike S. has heard my car at idle and said it is much quieter than the pipes alone.

What kind of reduction in dB's are you seeing with the muffler?

Ed, you worried about getting a ticket for excessive noise? Looks like a J-pipe ..........is it? With J-pipes they are quite a bit quieter than a 4x4 pipe. Then again on full throttle my car wails too!

No idea how much quieter it is as I built it with these on the car. I guess we'll all just have to compare exhaust noise one of these days.

I'm not worried about a ticket, just like to be able to sneak up on people before I blow their doors off !
