Default Hello, from a new member!!!

Hello everyone! Just wanted to chime in here and introduce myself. I'm in Houston and my Father and I just purchased a Lone Star Classics kit in November and just began working on it a couple of days ago. As a kid, my Dad and I always dreamed of building a Cobra together and now I can't belive we're actually doing it!

Anyway, I'm looking forward to attending some club events and getting to meet all of you Cobra owners out there.

-James

Hello James,
You and you dad are building a Cobra together? Consider yourself one of the luckiest guys in the world. Start posting pictures of the build. Happy Holidays

James,
Glad to see you joining the group. I am also in the process of a LS427. Have everything in the garage but the tires and wheels, they should be in Fort Worth today. I'm in Florida with the family but I will contact you when I get back after the 1st.

What part of Houston? We're in Conroe.

Happy Holidays,
Mark

Thanks to everyone for welcoming me to the site. My Dad and I are already planning on attending the show in Austin. We spent some time over the holidays in the garage and have all the suspension, brakes, rear end, and gas tank installed on the frame. We also mounted the fuel line down the rail and mounted our electric fuel pump. We will be picking up our 351w and Tremec tranny next Saturday (Jan. 10th).

Mark,

We are in Spring....so we're not far from Conroe.
