Texas Cobra Club....President 2004!
As we plan to invade the capital city of Austin, also known as the birthplace of the Texas Cobra Club I would like to say it has been a rare honor and privalege to be a part of something that has grown and prospered since that first meeting in Austin almost 5 years ago. When we first started this club I had no idea it would grow and become the "family" it is today. Some would call this a car club but to me it has become a family of brothers and sisters that I never had growing up. We have shared many laughs together as well as many tears. I still have good days and bad days as I reflect on the loss of two people that meant a lot to me....Ronnie Reed and Dick Flesher. Ronnie and Dick were rare individuals that always touched me with their friendship and devotion to the little car that brings us all together. I for one would like to suggest that we honor them at sometime during our get together with a group moment of silence to thank them for all they did for us and how much we miss them.
With this being our 5th event and also the time we pick our new President, or King for those of you with Royal blood as in the Rhubarb, I've been thinking....ouch. Over the last few years a person comes to mind that has always been there for us with planning, ideas, work, and has in general spent countless hours in the background to make sure our annual event goes off without a hitch. He has been instumental in keeping the Austin bunch in check even during the dark ages of the past year or so. With this being our 5th anniversary, and Austin being the birthplace of our club I think it's time to elect our next President from the home town. If he would consider the sometimes thankless job....plus having to put up with the Royal One and you know who I mean......I would like to nominate as the 2004 President of the Texas Cobra Club.............drum roll please.......
Mr. Ed Csoltco of Austin Texas.
WOW....we could call him "Mr. ED" for short
Gary

I have to agree. Ed has gone out of his was to make Tom feel like part of the group (we feel for you Ed...did the doctors say you would be ok? )
Ed you work hard and keep that Austin group in line...I am all behind this nomination.

Proposal!
Thank you all for your nominations. As some of you know I like to be behind the scenes helping the TCC as much as I can. Being retired, I have more time on my hands than the rest of you all.
May I request that we nominate Dick Flesher as honorary 2004 President and I can serve as Vice President. Dick had loved and done so much for the TCC that I believe we all should honor him in memory as the 2004 President.
So what say you all?

How about we add Ronnie Reid to be Co-President along with Dick Flesher for 2004!
I've been trying to figure out a way that they both would not be forgotten!
What do ya'll think!!

This is as it should be, Thanks Ed!
Ed,
A finer tribute to two of our brothers could not be done! I believe it is the Year for Dick and Ronnie, as we all should remember them well and love their memories as they loved us!
Gentlemen, this will be a banner year for this club, and I am proud of you all!
I am 100% in favor of this, and I can't imagine a more fitting way to follow Ryan.
Thank you, Ed and Tom, from the bottom of my heart.
