Talking Parking at The Hotel

Ok

Kingair, myself and Stretch met at the hotel yesterday, Wednesday. We went over the parking lot looking for the best possible parking solution, we feel that we've come up with a good plan.

The big rig's will be parked on the East side of the hotel, we've got room for Don Barnes, AER, one of Keith Williams vehicles, Doug Reid, plus two other motor homes with trailers. We also think that we might have room for two Smaller vehicles, such as a Pickup with trailer or even a SUV with a trailer or even a UAV with a trailer!!

The rest of us will park our tow vehicle with trailers on the North side of the hotel!! First come first serve!!

We Have To Get The Big Rig's Parked First!! Any Questions??

Once they are settled then we'll start parking the rest of the vehicles!!

Also the Hotel will block off the South side of the Hotel for Our Annual Photo, they'll give us access to the roof!!

Any Questions??

Default One question...

...will there be any room for Cobras, or should we leave those at home?

Question Cobra's

Holy Cow Batman, I knew we forgot something!!

We've even planed for the Cobras that have been driven to Austin!!

We could start parking some of the SUV'S and AUV'S!!

I think we've got a workable plan!!

Wink WHY?

I thought this was a Cobra Spring Meet, not a big rig convention.

Anyone want to draw or sketch the parking layout? Also include the compass designations (N,S,E,&W) for those who have GPS and can't follow directions.

..INBOUND!

..and just WHO were you referring to, Ed....?

Someone stick some signs up on Friday, will ya...? My luck I'll wind up driving down some cul de sac and get so far back in there I can't turn around and have to wait until everyone else leaves on Sunday to get my tow vehicle and trailer out....!

Default Might Need a Diagram!

If one of you fine gentlemen that checked out the hotel parking lot could get one of us Austin guys a brief sketch of your plan those of us who plan on being at the hotel early Friday can start laying out the parking area.

I have some engineer tape we can use to block off the area for Big rigs and then the Pick ups/w trailers. The the cobras that drove up solo.

Gregg H

BTW What time do we need to be at the Hotel on Friday to help set up. I off swo I can be there any time

Ryan, really, that FFR's not a bus. It's actually a very nice car. Give it to me if you're just going to badmouth it.

Wink Buses!

Now we got buses coming! This spring meet is going down hill real fast. We may have to park the Cobras across the street in the Dell parking lot.

Freddie - There are all kinds of MOPAC signs around for you, you can't get lost.

...that's MopaC, not MopaR...note the difference. The last thing we need is for you to end up at some Dodge Dart Owner's Club meeting. "Damn, these Cobras sure look different from mine!"

Well, if there ARE....then they're not 1) where anyone can see them, or 2) written in English, or 3) must have been posted by Aggies....

I can get to the hotel okay from the hiway...no prob. But I want to be sure I park my Navigator and trailer where you'd prefer me to....and so we can get to the margarita machine without a trek to Brownsville and back. I'd llike to locate the machine under my canopy, so I can run a drop cord to the generator located on the other side of the trailer to isolate the noise a little.

What time everyone showing up on Friday Morning? Perhaps meet in the hotel lobby and then hit the parking lot and get it squared away.
