Houston...We have a problem, need help
First some great news, The Orange One moved Thursday night Ran like a Spotted Ape! Now it is just a matter of getting the finishing touches done so she will be ready for Austin
Now for the problem. I don't have an enclosed trailer yet. As you all know, building one of these beast sucks every penny out of you. I had an enclosed trailer borrowed for the Austin trip but that fell through yesterday when my buddy realized that he had a points race that weekend Well, I contacted everyone else that I know with trailers and you guessed it, they are all drag racing that weekend.
I have worked my a$$ off to get my car to Austin and no way to get it there. I need help!
Does Anyone have or can get thier hands on an enclosed trailer that I can borrow or rent that's not going to Austin? Or maybe someone that is going and has a trailer that is big enough for two cars?
Respond on the forum or email me with a phone number and I will get back to you asap. I will be checking both.
Thanks

Call your local trailer stores that carry enclosed trailers...Many times those guys will have one that the will rent.

Did not think of that one. The only problem is that the nearest trailer sales is 60 miles away in Houston. But I will work on it.

I'm with Dennis - drive it! However, if you prefer not to, try these guys:
Trailer Wheel & Frame Co
8222 I 45 N, Houston, TX 77037
(281) 931-7777
I've heard they will rent.

You paid for it, you might as well drive it. Don't worry if it rains... you won't melt.

Boy, some help you guys are
Leave it to the Houston bunch to be sensitive and supportive
And no I'm not worried about "Hooters" making it, but sugar does melt
Sorry that We didn't make the meet today, but I did get her inspected today

There is nothing like a nice drive in the sun to adjust your attitude toward the rest of the day.
Why not tool up the freeway and let the beast have her moment?
Just a thought

Kelly, glad you finally got the beast up and running. I don't know anyone who has an enclosed trailer for you to borrow. I wish I could fix you up. I am going to drive to Austin. Just hope the weather is OK. If not, put on your top and warm clothes
Post some pictures of the Orange beast. Can't wait to see.
