San Antonio to Austin caravan?
San Antonio,
We need plan the trip to Austin. Who is driving and who is taking a trailer?
We should plan a meet point and time. I can leave anytime on Friday, I will be trailering my car up ( I want a garage to keep the car in at night.)
We also need to get a head count and get all the San Antonio Cobras to make the trip.
thanks.

I'm not shure where your going to find a garage to park your Cobra in Austin, the parking garage next store will tow you vehicle, so don't park there!!

Blake and I may head up thurs. night and hang out in austin. If not, we will let you know. I don't know when Craig is leaving? Brady is probably coming up Friday afternoon. I saw Curt L. today at Lowes and he said he was going to try to make it...but I don't know when. I assume Hugh is coming, but I haven't heard anything. How 'bout that crazy snake, is he gonna bring his new 289 or what? Who are we missing?
I want to try to get something on the news this week here in town about it and maybe we can motivate some of these nonsocial guys around town to get their cars out and come check it out!

I'm working on it. I have "clearance from the tower" to come up Friday, if I can make my work schedule live with my play schedule. Blake/Ryan, do you have any floor space for me to crash on in your "home away from home?"
Is anybody besides me NOT trailering their car(s)? Driving there is half the fun, and it would be nice to split up the speeding tickets between several Cobras--

Matt,
Just because you lay on it that doesn't make your blow up a mattress.
But it is good of you to want to share your blow up.

I didn't know they made that many Michael Jackson blow-up dolls.
Where did you say the air valve was again?
Sorry, couldn't resist.

Noooooooooooooo...
I still have nightmares about the "group hug" between The Rhubarb, Stretch, and Jay at Wimberley a few years ago!
Trust me, just being offered Matt's sacred blow-up "mattress" is affection enough--

Hey Bob, we should have room for ya but I'll check with blake for sure and see who else he's invited. I think there are only about 5 of us so far and I'll have to see how many bunks there are in the bus we're taking. They sleep 8 minimum.

Thanks Ryan,
My wife has a good friend in Austin, when Carol told her we would be there for the weekend she insisted we stay at her house. I still have a room booked at the hotel just in case.
Thanks for the offer

Bob,
I'm heading up this afternoon but I'm still not 100% sure when. I've got a friend driving my Cobra and I'll be in my GT40. The GT is at his shop right now for some last-minute a/c work so when we leave depends on when he can get to that. Depending on what time we get on the road we may shoot straight up I35 or we may go the "scenic route" up 281 and over on 290--
Bob
