Thumbs up Many Thanks for a great event!

We would like to thank Ed and the Austin group for hosting such a great event. I forget sometimes just how beautiful the area is, it's a wonderful venue for the gathering. I can’t wait to get the car running and cruise through the hills.

Thanks to Colleen and all the folks from North Texas for all their work. I don’t think I ever saw here standing still, always scurrying to help someone. Without people like this there wouldn’t be much of a club.

Thanks to Ryan for the use of the trailer it came in handy (unfortunately). It was great to finally meet you and I hope to see more this summer. Great job on the shirts and hats, thanks for all the effort.

It was very nice to meet Brent and Sherrie Mills. Thanks to Brent for kicking the whole club thing off.

If was really good to see all of our friends and meet some new ones. I just hope everyone had as much fun as Sherri and I.

Mark & Sherri Bishop

Thumbs up

I second the thanks to Ed, Colleen, and everyone else who had a hand in the organization. Perhaps someone who is more "in the know" can name some names so we can recognize them publicly here. The whole event went very smoothly, no small order for something done by volunteers and involving so many people and vehicles. Lunch at El Arroyo on Saturday was great--it was fantastic to walk in and have the whole restaurant to ourselves, no waiting. The speeches and plaque-giving were brief and poignant--when the lovely little eulogy was given for our departed TCC members I've never seen so many macho Cobra-driving guys dabbing their eyes. It was heartfelt and heart-rending.

A really great weekend, ya'll. Ed, Colleen, etc., nicely done and thanks--

Bob

I want to make sure Gregg Whathisname gets recognized. He did so much to get us all set up on Friday at the hotel. He might not have a Cobra (at the moment) but that truck of his got it's work out running around this weekend.

This was our first ever event and boy was it great! The wife and I can't wait until next year!

Having been a Cubmaster in Scouts for 10 years I know how much work is involved in planning an event as large as this one. My hat is off to all of the volunteers that gave thier time before and during the event.

And it sure is a good feeling when it is over to sit down, pull your shoes off, prop up those tired feet and smile to yourself knowing that you did good
