Nah, we're not slow...
...we're just too busy driving our Cobras to trifle about where to eat lunch.
You remember what it's like to drive a Cobra, doncha Gary?

Nope, but my life insurance is! If you're going to "off" me, just make sure you go all the way, so my wife can collect and "lead the lifestyle to which she has long desired to become accustomed," to steal a quote from an old law school professor--

I guess that's the problem with buying a brand-new one...a certain reluctance to "deflower" it. Gary, just let Matt and me have it for a couple of hours...we'll bring it back "all broken in," trust meeeee

Ouch!
Maybe he should apply some of his Weber-tuning expertise to his, er, other issue. Perhaps we're talking clogged idle jets?

lunch, yet again
well, looks like ya'll have been busy on "my" thread. Gary, pick the place. Bob, Matt, may we expect the pleasure of your company? Would love to see you guys. Bob, saw a cute die cast car the other day. It was red with white stripe, tho'. Isn't yours white with red?
Blue baby is dusty. neighbors scalped the yard, and it all blew over to our garage. i was gone, and David (hubby, babysitting, yet again) didn't think to close the garage. considering giving it a bath. 2 weeks, 2 baths. hmmmm
lunch at 11? or meet at 10:30? Gary, email me your 2 choices.
more in a bit
k no comments from the royal one regarding my surrender... hmmm
ps. more pics. on my gallery!

Kristen, if I could make it up from San Antonio for lunch, I'd be there. I think I'm the designated babysitter that day, and for some reason my wife frowns upon my stuffing two car seats in the passenger side of either the Cobra or the GT40 (picky, picky).
It's funny to read about your husband forgetting to close the garage door...but at the risk of starting a "gender thing," I'll say no more. You might consider buying a California Car Duster from Pep Boys. I used to towel my cars off periodically when they were simply dusty from sitting around, but a CCD will do the same thing and seems to be less likely to scratch the paint. The ideal way to remove the dust is a quick blast to 140 mph, of course, but that's not always adviseable (especially in residential areas )...

cloth diapers, gary, are good for a multitude of purposes:
poop, puke, nose goop, dusting, blotting, blankets for doll babies, car washing, mirror cleaning, etc.....
maybe i should send some to matt? got lots left over....
David took the girls fishing this afternoon. softball prac. this evening, baseball batting prac. in the a.m., and scrimmage in the evening. might take blue baby to scrimmage. anyway, gives me lots of time to continue "decorating" the garage. my hubby thinks i've run out of rooms to decorate, so have started in the garage.... (more photos to come)
contest:::
name the blue baby... needs a proper name and christening....at the dallas april meeting the name will be revealed. gender is not a big issue; my kids are: 2 boys and 2 girls. break the tie....
happy weekend
kristen
ps. got you something, gary...

My B!tch has only been gone for a couple of weeks and she already wants a new name:-( Well since her replacement will keep her same name I guess it's OK with me. Her name was Thumper.......so since my new baby will be Thumper also I will suggest "Bambi" as the only name that fits.
"Hi....I'm Bambi....and I'm Thumper....of course you are!" Sean Connery from Diamonds are Forever.
