Kristen,

Name it after the song: Blue Bayou, (blew by you, as in fast).

Question ICBLUE

Well Kristen I made it all the way across here to Texas.

And whoa - the suggestions

What are they doing to you.

Now Jay you behave now.

Its been a learning experience though. I'm ready for the next Cobra quiz night knowing who wrote - "hey'littlecobra"

Bambi - a little deer - a little dear - a little expensive. Now I not sure about that one. Then again!!

Blue bayou, now that's smart Bob.

Looks like you will need to Post a new Thread on the Australian Forum to see what the 'collective genius' can come up with "Down Under"

Post early in the day, as we decline quickly once we have a dozen or so beers over lunch.

Cheers

Bernie

Default Gary, Gary, Gary

hey, there, man!

well, the object of the contest is NOT to submit the most suggestions, it's to submit the BEST suggestion!!!!!

you are skewing the list of eligible monikers. hahahaha

Bernie: the garage is tidy because it's an extension of the house, and everyone knows that i've run out of rooms to decorate in the house, so why not move my decorating skills to the garage?? Gary thinks the best feature of the garage (besides HIS cobra), is the BUDGIT hook hanging from the I-beam ready to put his new engine in his new car! (Thumper 2)

gotta go for the day! more later!! keep submitting suggestions, folks!! (not U Gary!!! )

Hey, little cobra-

Let me play Godfather and make you an offer you can't refuse.

If you will name it "Chopper"...

I will snail-mail you my 45 of the Rip Chords' "Hey Little Cobra" I am staring at.

Written by C. Connors and M.H. Connors (brothers? spouses?)

Produced by Terry Melcher and Bruce Johnston.

Bruce was the "touring" Beach Boy in the late 1960's replacing Brian Wilson, who was in the studio working on the "Pet Sounds" LP.

WTH...

PM me with your snail-mail address and I will send it anyway. I think you would appreciate it more than I do. The paper wrapper disintegrated decades ago, sorry.

I'm trying to suck up to the Texas Cobra Club membership. My BDR should be delivered in June.

You're sucking up to the wrong person...Kristen's a newbie herself. It's ME...the Royal Rhubarb, Matt, Gary S., John, Fred etc... etc... that you need to be working on. Oh....I see...you're in Oklahoma. Too bad you won't be at the Saturday meeting to buy my lunch....er...I mean fellowship with us!!!

Gary

Matt's the one we pick on, not suck up to!

Wink intriguing offer, uncltodd

well, I will consider the name "Chopper". hmmmm must be a good reason for you to submit that.....hmmmmm

As a matter of fact, I have finally hunted down a 45 of hey little cobra. I'm gonna frame it, and put it on the wall in the garage. A record guy i know said he'd look for the LP for me at some record swap/convention type thing in Austin this weekend. Ebay has all that stuff, but it's much more fun looking for it for real!!

There is a Johnny Lightning set of a "Rock and Rollers collection" that has a little blue cobra with a new small CD of hey little cobra. I think i've found one.....

the hunt is on. I am really struggling with all the suggestions!!

Ya'll are doin' good!! keep thinking!!!

kristen

p.s. uncltodd, I had a "chopper" bicycle when i was about 10. All the boys on the block were quite envious. The girls all had these pink things, and i had a chopper!! go figure. so, the name chopper does have some sentiment,,,,, guess the guys on the block are still envious, just after my bigger, cooler ride!!!!

G'day.
or should that be Howdy.

Jason here for Aus.
You look to be struggling, so I'll help you out.

GAA-BOO

Named after the colour (don't pick on my spelling, that's how we spell color down under) .

It sounds like a sneeze.

It's a fun up lifting Name that will make people laugh.

It's easy to pronounce.

The young ones will love it 'cause it sounds like baby talk.

The teens will love it 'cause it sounds like a slang swear word.

If you wanted to impress your friends, you could say it was an ancient Australian Aboriginal word meaning 'Great thunderous beast'.
If they don't believe it. You could tell them to ring your Aussie mate REPTYL.
I'll back the story up. (only if I win the prize though)

And last of all: it would be easy to get it on a personalised number plate cause no one else would be silly enough to call their car such a weird name.

"Debbie" was inspired by that well known 70's documentary about a good looking cheer leading gal trying to get to Dallas.

Since, afterall, you are going to Dallas......... for a Cobra meet!!

Default oh yeah,,, THAT documentary....

well, Al, that was good. really good. you guys are all so clever.

Of course, I was just a mere child when the Debbie/Dallas thing was "hot". and, of course, everybody knows that Kristen shot J.R. (on 'Dallas' [t.v.show of the 80's]), so maybe it should be named J.R. (as in "who shot J.R.?")

Or "miss Ellie" or sue ellen, or or or or .......

Smile I have an idea!

Kristen,
How about Blue Thunder? The lope of that 427 can be felt in your chest.
I will keep my thinking cap on.
