Thumbs up Yep!

Cobra302,

Our monthly meet is still on for next weekend at the Oasis (5/22/04 at 11:00am). Just bring yourself and your significient other, kids, friends, etc.. If you have a Cobra (not mandatory) bring that too.

Cool May Meet

Good. I'll be there.

No car yet. Pickin' my way through the offerings and setting aside the shekels so when it comes time to turn a wrench I can minimize the mistakes.

Not thinking in terms of mega HP or 0-60 in 3.2, and not really focused on a replica that replicates down to the last screw. Rather, a well-thought-out weekend driver that maximizes the fun of driving a somewhat over-powered sports car, and doesn't require 2 hours of maintenance for every 1 hour of wheel time!

Maybe an FIA variant, slightly cooked up 302, 5 speeds for more than satisfactory acceleration and still a comfy cruise on the interestate.

Got some concepts in the back of my mind, but with some insight from those who have gone before, I can make better choices as I go along.

See you Saturday.
