Well finally I have the word that CSX4758 is on it's way to Texas. If anyone just happens to be off Wednesday around noon or after that would like to come by and help us get it up the hill into the garage and see this new toy your help would be appreciated as I'm not sure how hard it's going to be.
YYYYYIIIIIPPPPPEEEEEEEEEE
Now the real work begins!

Congrats Gary!!
Once that baby rolls off the truck and your adrenalin starts flowing, you'll be able to push that beauty up into your garage with your pinky finger!! Send us pics when you can

Gary,
shoot me an email with your address. If all goes well I should be able to get off work early and give you a hand. Not much chance of me getting there by noon but should be able to get there some time in the afternoon. If you are able to get it in the garage before I get there make sure to back it in so I can get some pictures. Your car will be the first photographed for tulsa this year.
You sure you gonna make it to tulsa? For some reason I see you sitting in the car, holding on to the steering wheel making Vrooom Vrooom noises for 2 days.

Gary: I'll be on the road as well, but I'll make sure Pat gets over there to give a hand. He's the young guy that works for me. John knows him well.
John: Pat will contact you to quordinate time.

Pix are in my camera, so there!!
What a trip!!
I got to Gary & Susan's house yesterday about 4:45 pm after driving through a Monsoon. Upon entering the living room I/we discovered the truck driver-Bob- was only about 45 miles away.... from Decatur, or just past Bowie!!!!!!!!! Geez, said a few of the eight of us (or something sort of like that ), and so we all dispursed toward home to grab some dinner (as in Gary didn't have any Beer!!). Gary & Susan took off over to Kristin's house to get the ERA loaded into her new trailer, & I asked Susan to give me a call on my cell phone when they heard from Bob, the Truck driver & I would head back over (I saw that Bob posted here earlier). About 7:15 pm, Susan called, telling me Bob was about to make the turn off 635, so I ran out, cranked the Diesel up & headed over, arriving about 7:40 in light rain to see an unfamiliar truck and three car hauler! Whoopee!!
We put the rush on, rolled that baby out, and three of us with a neighbor's son steering pushed the car around to the garage and made it up the slope and into the dry garage in one shot!
I will defer to Gary to describe his new "baby" when he and Susan get back from Tulsa, but I think I am safe in saying they are both rather pleased!!!
Unfortunately, I shot large files, much too large to post, and I have not downloaded them yet anyway......but .... in the Immortal words of Bob-the truck driver... "She's a purty leetle thang, now ain't she"!!
I concur!!!
