Jim,
Thanks for bringing the "rig". It was really nice to have it as the hub in the TCC corner.
I had a great time. Good to see some old friends, and new ones. It just went by too quickly.

5th picture..phat butt in the back ground. Thanks for the comments on the car, but are you sure you have the right guy? I was at the drive in on the side facing you guys...down a little off the street...
anyway, I had a real nice time meeting people and seeing cars. New at all this you know and am having a blast. I was thinking tonight floating in the pool, I have seen SAI, Kirkham, SPF, Arntz, B/B, Shell Valley, Midstates, Lone Star, Factory 5, originals, excaliber, the Brock coupe from SPF.....and just 3-4 months ago, when I started looking for cars, I hadn't ever seen one up close. Everyone I have met has been very nice and informative. I do enjoy talking cars and learning as I meet people and reading on the forums.
Just wish I could have attended more stuff...work got in the way a bit.

there are several guys in photos that could say "Gawd I need to lose weight" (or whatever it is you said....)
of course, I shouldn't be speaking, my "baby fat" is still there, and the last kid is going on 5! but no comments, of course, or I'll be "offended".....
chuckling chuckling, as I go off to read my "cobras" magazine....
g'nite guys
(and then there's Matt, hiding behind cutie chick (bob) in the photo - so he looks slim like all the rest!!)

Well my friends...the list is long. Mr. Woodard...first class all the way. Thank you for bringing our home away from home. Hope we have you hooked to come back next year. A Special thanks to our Daddy Mr. Sellards for arranging our transportation and refreshment machines. To Matt and Boudy for the most excellent Jambalaya that was shared by many.......I hope Ronnie Reed was watching over us....I think he would have been proud!......and as always my hat is off to the members of the Texas Cobra Club for all their participation and looking out for each other. To you first timers I hope it was all we veterans have told you it was. Thank you all for a "Most Excellent Adventure" Let's do it again in 2005!!

quite moving, Gary
gee, gary, that was so touching, I think I'm gonna cry...
Wasn't it fun??!!! Out of 4 days, the worst incident, (besides the smoke billowing out from under my hood) was the bird tookie thing. Haven't even started on fixing that one; Pepe is up at Keith Craft as I write, getting all the little boogers worked out....
I KNOW I was going faster than 40 on the Hallett track. You losers, you know you just couldn't keep up with me, so you pretended I was going slow, just to make me look bad!! And the cornering, wasn't it awesome. (no, not "aweful", awesome!)
the Party on Friday night was nice; even if I did spend it getting a "headstart" on polishing up the car. ya know, just couldn't sit around for 4 hours watching you drunks get wasted on Margarita's.... I love: John R. Boudy. Jim W. thanks for all you did, and do to make TCC the best. Each of you know what you did to make the trip awesome! Well, John, maybe if you had stayed home I'da won, for once!!!
yeah, guys, guess who won, again?? Mr. Ross, was the grand winner in the cobra (replica) division, with lil ole me getting runner up. Dam good thing red fred wasn't there.... hahahaha....
Lee Abramson also was a runnerup in his category. way to go Lee!! Jay N. got 2nd and a big honking trophy for the drag strip thing. Way to go Jay! My buddy Joanne won a couple of times in the raffle. and what, exactly, are you gonna do with a "subwoofer"? The best was Hallett. Go speedracer, go speedracer, go speedracer, go!!
Sonic drive in was fun. Had the best parking spot... At some point I will add pics to my gallery, but the boys have hijacked the computer. It's killing me, this out of school/take care of kids thing!! Seeing the fastest cobra #198 was a delight.
Indebted to and love Susan, for tolerating my shaky inexperience at driving the tank and huge trailer. Never hit a thing. (that I know of) Boudy, awesome for babysitting me back home.
Gary, I KNOW you are jealous by now, as you haven't been mentioned yet, but you KNOW "I luvya, man"... All the TCC gang, (matt, greg, david t., lee, patrick, jay, and all, ) wheeooo!!!!
never got the pic with my two johns....

Kristen,
Finally, got to meet you when you were in our pits at Hallett on Saturday. Glad you got your hotrod on the race track. Next year we can bolt a set of slicks to it and you'll be hitting turn one at over 100 mph like the rest of us. No one will be calling you slow poke after that (by the way you were running considerably more than 40 so don't let the TCC guys rag on you too much). I believe you will be blowing everyones doors off next year if you want. Beautiful Cobra and driver. Thanks to all the TCC members for all your contributions to this event. Glad everyone had a good time.

yup, Patrick, kiddo
Hey, Patrick, nice seeing you up at KC Racing...
that picture is of Boudy with Jordan at the level 3 drive time. I chickened out of that one. After my track tour time it was the vintage racing, and they went fast and all in all I chickened out! Now I know level 3 is fine. Faster, with helmets, but still no passing, at pace car speed. Learn, learn, learn.
Clois, it was awesome seeing you, and watching you and your crew. Ya'll really know what you're doing! Yeah, maybe next year I'll really "tear it up". Your cars look like they could beat anyone. Do you race them often? Where?
Here's an update on Pepe's doctor checkup:
Ya know all the smoke billowing out on Friday night? Battery acid dripping on the headers. hmm. now I've got a new battery, and the crud is all cleaned up. Coolant fluid dripping? Hose was loose, now tightened. No speedo at Hallett? Cable broke. New cable. Oil changed. Oh yes. the ticking sound from lifter area? Header gasket cracked. New gasket. all fixed, and ready to come home! Gary, I'll send the bill....
really, not any different than getting the sequoia sorted out at 60,000 mile checkup
kristen (hey, have ya'll gotten your new trophy for '04?? contribute to CC!)

but of course!
hey, Fred! That was part of my deal with Gary... He pays for all services for a year. Kind of like a "special warranty"!. Thinking about coating the pipes, or new ones, or maybe a new paint job.... or .... or.... yeah, right, gotcha, I bet...
No, in Tulsa I just had a couple of "issues" arise, and am having the real pros at Keith Craft fix 'em, rather than have a bunch of shade tree mechanics scratch their heads and say "well I think I fixed it...." hahaha
kristen
P.S. when's the next get together? July 3 is 1st Saturday....
Your turn! BBQ, beer, fireworks, valet parking... hahahahaha
