Default Static decals

Does anybody know where I can purchase the material used for static (vinyl) decals that temporarily adhere to your car??

Thanks in advance,
Bob

Bob:
Try a local sign shop. They usually have vinyl in varying widths.

I just bought some to make some spats for my car. The only place that had it was Regal Plastics in Austin. 836-3629. All of the sign shops told me to call them.

I have a few feet of it left over, so if you can't find any let me know and maybe we can swing a deal (it cost like $1 per foot, so there wouldn't be much dealing going on ).

Darren,

Thanks for the offer, but I need to find a local (Dallas) source -- I need them by this weekend!

Thanks again,
Bob

Squire as mentioned, that's where I bought mine. They have more selections from size to color. I have the black outer ring also. Finish Line carries them too. I haven't applied mine yet, hope they work ?

Smile Bob........

Give Teresa a call at Fast Signs out here by the track. We've used her continually for all the graphics for our cars as well as signs. I've asked her in the past about static cling stuff and she said she has it and can do it.

I was wondering , can you apply a decal to the static cling and then cut around it and apply it.

Or does the decal make the cling to firm/taught??

I want to run a couple of local sponsors decals along with the historic ones I have on now (see gallery) from Finish Line.

I had thought of using two of the circles/meatballs from
Finish Line and placing the decals on and then cutting them out.

Any thoughts.

Thanks

Cheers

Bernie

Web site for Regal Plastics in Austin. They sell the stuff, but only in 30 foot rolls, one foot wide, for $22. It's very thin. I think it would hold up well with decals stuck to it, assuming they weren't too rigid to allow the vinyl to conform to the body of the car.

Darren

Thanks for the address. I may try the decals on the static cling as the body is pretty well flat at the location I want to attach them.

Looking for a tax relief going to put "m" on the side of the car.

Thanks again for the address. I may see if they will off cut a few feet and post it.

Cheers

Bernie
